I called this morning to hopefully get in. I'd heard good things about Darryl's. This morning, I was told over the phone all they do is oil changes on RVs. So I went down there to see. I said I didn't need an oil change and big Darrell came out to set me straight and talked shit to me in front of his sons saying don't look at him look at me and again with a raised voice "DON'T LOOK AT HIM LOOK AT ME" and again....(you can unscramble this one for fun: "him look at don't me at look") How'd you do? Pity such a big man talks shit to customers. Easier to say "We had a misunderstanding. Sorry, we don't service RVs except oil changes;" about two weeks ago when the appointment was made.

My husband had ACE BODY & FRAME on Miller Ave recommended to him, so that's where we took her. I was keeping my fingers crossed that they weren't just some 'sand paper & paint' place, but a real body shop with lots of experience. We dropped my car off and were met by the owner, Jack. He seemed like a really nice guy who knew and worked in the business for a good while. But charming personality and smile aside, could he match my Soul Red Crystal paint???? After reading horror stories online about having repairs done with this color and ending up with a 2-toned car, I was getting pretty nervous, so I checked in with Jack a couple times. Nope, I couldn't have my car back. Yup, parts all arrived, but Jack wasn't happy with the paint color. I KNEW IT!!! This beautiful color (which was the reason I bought my car) was giving him some grief. He wasn't giving it back until he was happy with it. So I waited a couple more days and then got a call from Jack saying she was ready. With a little trepidation, we went to pick her up. She was sitting out front so, of course, I had to do a walkaround before going in to see Jack. I looked at all the seams (original and newly painted plastic) side by side, and I was so relieved to see a perfect match!!! That deep red crystal color that your eyes seem to look through, not just at; it's reflective, dynamic!
