We a great training environment that's supportive of beginners and practitioners of all skill levels. Orient JJ provides a variety of instructors with diverse backgrounds and experience in competition jiu jitsu, self defense, Muay Thai, Wrestling, and MMA. We provide quality instruction, variety of classes (Gi, Nogi, ladie's only, kids classes, Wrestling, and Muay Thai) to support a well rounded curriculum. Orient has a large mat space, seating area, changing rooms, multiple bathrooms, and a shower (something not a lot of gyms provide). We practice good gym hygiene with cleaning procedures after every class. This gym is for everyone. Whether you're a hobbyist, competitor, or just looking to get in shape or become part of a family, this is the place for you. If you're looking to enroll your children to build confidence, coordination, and discipline; we also have a growing kids program with classes 5 days a week. I say all this so to give context that I have been around, trained and met the best of them and this is where I chose to train when I was in Las Vegas. Mica is the person who brought jiu jitsu to Las Vegas, he is the OG. He's an excellent instructor as "close to the source" as you'll find. Amazing techniques encompassing everything from modern leg lock games to the stuff Helio and Carlos worked on in Brasil. The facility is world class, with two giant mat areas, every class has a world champion and at least 5 black belts. You will probably be the rest round in this house, everyone kicked my butt. Giant lockers for make and females, showers, cars are in a safe space. I checked out all the academies, did internal references, and I can honestly say you won't find better.

The class times work with our schedule. My daughter (3 year old) started her jiu jitsu journey here and went from being scared and hesitant, to now looking forward to class. She's so fun and tries to take me down now too. On and off the mat she enjoys this sport and I'm thankful for that. My son has made friendships with kids in class.
