I've been training at FTCC for about 5 years now and it is one if my favorite places to be. Coach Taylor is an amazing instructor and person. The gym, the environment, and the different training options he provides is why I absolutely love it there. I've seen so many amazing athletes and champions come through to train at his gym it blows my mind. Great Coaches and experience! Coach Taylor along with the other coaches have been awesome with my son Marcello! They're super knowledgeable, patient, and really know how to teach kids. I first met Coach Taylor about 2 years ago and he definitely is one of the coolest and nicest guys you'll ever meet on the planet. I train here at FTCC on Fridays for his adults striking class. One thing is for sure, Coach Taylor is really great with his students and also an amazing Coach/Trainer/Mentor, not just to the adults but also with the kids. The guys that help out with the class as well are also very highly respectable people I have met that really hold up the standard Coach Taylor has set for his gym. *Also.. this gym is like ridiculously clean. Like super super clean and it's amazing! I cannot say enough great things about this place. My 7 year old has been coming for a bit and loves every minute of it. We tried quite a few things prior to coming here and nothing captured his attention until this. I know it's 100% due to Coach Taylor and his wonderful team. Coach Taylor is EXCEPTIONAL with the kiddos. Patient, kind, organized, and he's taught my son to have so much discipline in such a short amount of time. He just GETS kids and it's hard to find people who do. The gym is clean, well kept, and safe for the kiddos. I have no doubt the everyone of these kiddos is being prepared for success. Brand new to Jits? Come try out FTCC as there are 2 day free trial. But once you come, you will become a member and here is why... I have been wanting to try BJJ gi for quite some time (now that we have 2 kiddos and done) and upon hearing from hubby that our awesome Coach Taylor, AKA, Ninja, whom we met way back when UFC Anthem was still around, is now the owner/coach at FTCC. The stars aligned, and we had to join. Sure enough, Coach Ninja is still the most patient, friendly, encouraging, and funny coach one will ever encounter. Being new to Jits, there are so much to learn, but with Coach Ninja, he takes the time to explain every little detail and he explains it in a way where it will click for the students. BJJ is very technical and intricate, so I love it that when showing us a drill, Coach Ninja also rotate to a few views (i.e. Camera 1, Camera 2, Camera 3) so we can see it at different angle. We were new so the first 2 classes, he had us drill on a few intro ones so we can pivot into the drills that the rest of the class were doing. The space is clean, the mats are safe to roll on, there are also mats along the walls to prevent injuries (i.e. banging your head or any body parts along the walls, no pain). The restrooms are immaculate, yes, no kidding. There are chairs along the front wall for parents to sit while observing their children learning how to defend and strike the bad guys while having fun. The kids absolutely adore the coaches here. There are also no gi classes, to ensure students will not get lost if face without a gi. I also especially enjoy the striking class (last month was boxing, this month, kickboxing, etc), which is currently on Fridays. The members are all very friendly, regardless of what color belt they are wearing. If you have been wanting to try BJJ or just want to pick up a new life skill set, come in see for yourself. read more

Coach Taylor is really awesome with the kids! He has so much patience and keeps them engaged in class. Pushes them to their best but gentle enough to not over stimulate. I'll start off by saying that I've trained at a lot of different jiu jitsu schools. When picking a school you want to call home base there are several different factors you want to take into consideration and FTCC checks all of those boxes. There are few things more frustrating than paying good money and spending time in a gym where the coach is too busy for you and/or not paying attention to your needs as a student.. that is not Coach Taylor. Coach Taylor is a very knowledgeable and active teacher. He promotes a positive attitude among his students, makes learning and training fun and is always close by and ready to answer any questions that you may have (and you will have them). I do have to warn you that you will have to suffer through some truly terrible eye rolling jokes but aside from that you cant go wrong with Coach Taylor and FTCC. 5 out of 5 ossss! read more

The whole family here at FTCC is so welcoming and professional, your worries about your new martial arts journey are quickly eased by the incredible support this involved team of athletes is eager to provide you with. Coach Taylor is a wealth of knowledge in combat sports and he applies that to his extensive BJJ, wrestling, and striking curriculum. Never have I seen more families gathered at the same gym to learn the sports they love with the ones they love. On top of all those great attributes, the place is always very clean and sterile and the environment is a beautiful one to learn in.
