And there was already a line when I got there for lunch. Good sign, don't you think? I got a large spinach, banana, mango and pineapple mix, and it was amazing. Much better than the Juice Generation drink I got earlier. And it's a good price: $5 for 24oz; $4 for 16oz! Significantly cheaper than the $7.75 I had to spend for 20oz at Juice Generation. There are so many options too! Many more options than Juice Generation. (I'm not bashing JG since their Kale juice was great, but it is the closest comparison I can make!) If you couldn't already tell, I'm gonna be a regular here for the remainder of my fast. Convenient location, affordable price, and delicious drink!

They're located on the side south of W. 47th Street (between 8th and 9th Avenues). Highly recommend, y'all. As you'll be able to tell from my photos, it's such a lovely and cozy spot. Love the elegant design. And the ladies who work there are warm and welcoming; they also make an amazing smoothie! Over a decade ago, I used to supervise at a healthy, vegan food chain called Organic Avenue. (Does anyone still remember it??) And I can tell you that making a smoothie isn't actually so easy. Sure, it looks easy, but making sure that it's equal parts sweet and not-so-sweet is an art form. These smoothies were just that -- tasty without being overbearing and nourishing sans giving "health food store circa 1987." LOL Somehow, these ladies did the thing well and struck that balance. All three of the smoothies that my spouse and I got to enjoy were also an ideal texture...substantial but not too thick and chunky. Brava! Welcome to Hell's Kitchen, Mixe.
