I had a pellet implant on March 12, 2025. The practitioner used steri strips to close the site. She then left and the technician was to put a clear cover over the steri strips. Three things were done incorrectly. 1. No preparation was made to the skin prior to the surgery. No scrub or alcohol, etcetera. 2. Due to the lack of preparation, the steri strips did not adhere to my skin. 3. The technician failed to use a large enough clear cover over the steri strips, so when the steri strips detached, so did the covering. See attached image. Dr Tieche is the only doctor on 40 years who successfully treated my Hashimotos. If anyone has Hashimotos, absolutely go to Dr Tieche. Same for my daughter who is way worse than me and who main stream doctors refused to treat (even with me jumping up and down on ALL their desks). It's a matter of understanding the meaning of statistical findings, recognizing how sloppy range boundaries really can be, treating with the active thyroid form (T3) in addition to the inactive form ( T4), and not dismissing symptoms to ageing (for me) or depression (my daughter) and recommending antidepressants !?! How many Hashimotos people out there were put on antidepressants?!? My blood work was terrible (just aging they said) and all of it did a full 180. My bloodwork is now perfect. Hair falling out in giant clumps (again just aging they said). I now have all kinds of new growth and no more falling out and I'm getting back to the thickness my hair used to be as a young adult. I'm no longer cold ALL THE TIME and I have sustained energy throughout the day. In other words I feel what I imagine normal should feel like (as I don't really know what normal feels like but maybe I do now). One thing I still don't understand. Why would any doctor treat with the inactive form (T4) when the active form (T3) is fully available? For 40 years, T4 was all I knew and that's the case for MANY Hashimotos people even today. I went to the Recharge in Blitchton, Ocala area , on and off for about a year. I needed to lose weight for my daughter's wedding. At first, they put me on the weekly weightloss booster and pheromone. The weekly vitamin and NAD shot was noticeable right off the bat. I had more energy and mental clarity. Each week there after the dose seemed to weaken. I would comment about the difference and they would apologize. But as time went on it was clear there was no change and I felt like it must be sugar water. Miranda could not clarify to me about the dose I was given and what amounts of each product and why. Something told me the 1000.00 I spent during my visits were not the quality I received on my initial few visits. I'm suspect of Recharge and will be more careful of others I may look into. Unless you enjoy the uncertainty of having every single word of your every experience recorded and documented, don't count on getting what you pay for here unless you want to pay 2 or 3 times what everyone else is charging for a horrible experience. Update: I was called immediately by April and was taken care of properly. My view has been changed drastically and I cannot thank her enough for listening to me and helping me understand their process. I will be going back it seems now. The working staff was amazing and so nice. I want to speak on the weight loss program which I personally tried. Despite the staff onsite being great, the pricing is extremely high, for what is expected and offered in my opinion. I did a three month plan and paid over 1300+, which included a meal plan weekly b12 shots. This did not include the medication. You will be asked to use the MyFitnessPal app and it was suggested for me to stay at 1000 calorie a day diet. The first week I was prescribed phentermine, which was only around $25 for me. It was great at first but given my medical history I did not do well with the jittery feeling I was left with. So my next visit it was recommended that I try semiglutide injections, that would cost me $600 for four shots. Being desperate to get ahead of losing weight as part of my health journey, I bit the bullet and paid. My first shot seemed ok until day three when the dizziness hit me so bad I could not walk, I ended up in the ER and was told I was experiencing a vertigo episode. After 2 days I was much better, then it was time for shot #2. At the visit I explained what happened and was told by the medical assistant that it more than likely was a fluke. So I went ahead with shot #2. The vertigo was back with a vengeance and with no guidance when I reported this side affect was given or alternative. I deemed myself to not be able to handle the medication and stopped. When I reached out to the admin team regarding this issue, they basically concluded that I could not be refunded half of the shots back, that the best they could do was give me a 112 dollar credit for another service. There was no clause as to what happens when a patient cannot handle a medication like myself. I was just out of luck in their eyes. They received their money and that was that. My suggestion before you start the weight loss program here is speak with your pcp and research for other more affordable clinics in town. They definitely exist and I wish I would have done the same, because I love where I am at now. It is a facility and clinic that took time to hear my issues and work to see what works for me without the extreme costs. Over 3k for three months of what I experienced was not worth it at all. If you want a Doctor who actually listens to you... I have been seeing Dr Tieche for about 6 months now. I find that he really listens to me and takes his time answering my questions. I'm 49 and all kinds of stuff is changing! I like his approach - he is conservative when he starts you on a new treatment, keeping in touch with you to adjust as you need. I have gone to Recharge for hormone stuff, common medical stuff, he has even treated the Baker's cyst on my knee. As far as the Botox mentioned by the other reviewer, when Dr T did mine, he asked for the look I wanted. I want to look like I'm in my 40's but my early 40's! I didn't feel like he overdid it or overcharged me at all. I also go for IV's full of vitamins and rehydration, especially before and after travel. Updating my review today. Revisited the office. Got RECHARGED! Ladies at front desk very friendly and helped with sign in at kiosk. About a minute or two later I was kindly greeted and escorted to a patient room. While getting settled another assistant came in with my paperwork. Just behind him came the one and only "Dr. Tieche"! Dr. T greeted me and shook my hand. During our conversation regarding my current health, he sat down next to me. He explains everything in such a way that I can easily understand and it helps me to make good informed decisions. Now the procedure. Dr. T inserted the hormone pellets in my upper hip. He explains everything while performing the procedure. I felt very comfortable. Afterwards he explained the bandaging and care of the incision. I felt the women working there were very unknowledgeable. More frustrating than anything. I enjoyed the Dr's wife presence. She was smart, organized and kind. I am very experienced with Botox, Dysport, and Juverderm. The fact that Dr. Tieche told me my 27 year old *botoxed* forehead needed the same amount of Dysport as my virgin 60 year old mothers face needed blows my mind... that is just silly.
