(Garden Wrap & Vegetarian Roll) Side Note: LJ Kroger has a very nice & clean dine-in area! (Super Plus!), I enjoy HEB sushi options as well but they do not have a dine-in area. I purchase money orders here which usually isn't a problem, but sometimes there is a long line and this section of the store is not open as long as the rest of the store. I always check the strawberries and other produce because sometimes they are rotten but overall they are of quality although they usually don't have plantains. My biggest complaint are the baskets here. A good quiet functioning basket is rare, far and few between. The thing I like most about this Kroger is their customer service. There are a lot of employees who have been working here for years, who are all very polite and know how to do their job!

I can only speak to Frank's deer processing (not catering or meats). I typically have between 4 to…read more8 deer per year processed and due to the convenience of Frank's (close to home and work ) I have tried to use them as my only processor. Service - This is the main reason behind my low rating. It has always been a running joke between my friends and I that the first word out of Frank's mouth when they call to inform you it's ready is "we're out of freezer space and need you to pick it up immediately ". This is normally not an issue for me because it's conveniently located for me but I do travel for work so there have been times when I couldn't get there immediately. Even though I inform them of this when I drop the meat off they still act like it's an inconvenience for them. This year they actually turned down two of my deer because they didn't have freezer space to take them. This was a major inconvenience for me since I depended on their service and didn't have many options. Price - Based on what I've seen, they are on the high side compared to other processors. Quality - The quality is okay but you have to be explicitly clear what you want. As an example, I asked for one of my deer to be boned out last year. I received a 30 pound block of frozen deer in a single bag. This was extremely difficult for me to use in that form. Their summer sausage is good and so is their link sausage. Overall - I like the convenience of Frank's and if you're explicit in what you want then they are okay to use. I feel they should invest in another freezer since this seems to be a major bottleneck for them and turning away business is no way to retain loyal customers. I will likely try to find another processor in the area that needs business next year so I'm not put in a bad position when Frank's has no freezer space.

The line looked long at first, but they had a QR code check-in system that made everything easier. We scanned the QR code with our phone, saw how long the wait would be, and got a text when it was her turn. It was great not having to just sit there--we were able to get some shopping done while we waited. Super convenient and way more efficient than we expected. The staff was polite, and everything was handled quickly once she got called back. Nice surprise to see a system like this in place. We'd definitely come back!
