In today's world, more and more companies seem to lack adequate customer service, and very few companies seem to have the ability or desire to stand out in a positive way by going the extra mile to service their customers. I had the opportunity to work with Patrick (Owner) of Recognition Products ( also known as "ChicoAwards.com") last year before my company, Paradise Association of Realtors, was to have a booth to staff at a local community event in Paradise, CA. I realized 3 days prior to the event, that we had nothing to set up a booth, as I forgot that everything had burned in our old building in the Camp Fire. I called Patrick at Recognition Products as soon as I realized I had nothing to stage a booth. I needed a new banner, branded swag for "giveaways", table cloths, etc. So, I called Patrick at about 3:45pm on a Wednesday, and my event was 3 days later on the following Saturday. The cut off time for ordering a large 6ft banner was 4:00pm, so Patrick asked what I needed on a banner and said he would email me a design concept in a few minutes, and he delivered. The banner design he emailed 5 minutes later was exactly what I requested, and he even did one better by making a few minor changes which looked even better. Patrick was able to get the order submitted just before 4pm, just enough time to have the banner by Friday. Then, we worked on the "Swag" to give away at the booth. I gave some ideas of what I wanted, and Patrick came up with several suggestions that were really great options. We went with "chip clips" with magnets to stick to a refrigerator. This would allow our branding to be seen in households daily on a useful everday item. Who doesn't use a chip clip in some way, right?! Perfect! Then, Patrick came up with ideas for doing items to raffle off. We did engraved bbq sets with our logo along with thermal wine mugs the our logo engraved. Very classy hight quality products and they were all a hit! I normally would not wait until the last minute to order items like these with such short lead time, but I was desperate to get something figured out quickly, and Patrick certainly delivered and saved the day! I was extremely pleased with my first experience with Recognition Products, I came into their shop with an order of 33 custom name badges that I needed in a narrow window of time for an upcoming event. I was not willing to settle for anything generic that could be easily produced, they designed a proof of exactly what I was looking for. Due to material shipping issues my deadline was approaching fast and I was concerned that my deadline would not be met. I received a call form the operator explaining the situation and his reassurance my name badges would be ready on time. My name badges were delivered as promised, after hours at my place of business the evening before my event. The finished product was better than expected, on time and error free. I have to say hands down this is the BEST place to get any kind of name tag, plaque, or award done at. The staff is amazing and goes way above and beyond their job to make their customers happy. I had a huge holiday order for the company I work at for Christmas and this team put in extra hours and had my order complete and ready within a time frame I didn't think could be possible! At the last minute I decided that I needed to have a little engraved plaque on a book that I'm giving as a gift TODAY.....I fully expected that it would not be possible, but it was! I dropped off my book this morning, leaving my phone number, and was texted with a picture of a mock up of what they were going to do, to be approved by me. It was finished in a few hours. It was obvious that it was important to these people that everything be perfect, which it was. I'm so pleased with the entire experience. The book looks great.... Our Chevrolet car club puts on a car show every year and, of course, awards trophies. This year it was my turn to order the awards. After looking online at different places in Chico - we wanted to keep it local - my first stop was at Recognition Products for it's convenient location. It was also my last stop. They showed me just what I was looking for and made suggestions for second place awards. Our club members had talked about getting 2nd place ribbons to help hold our costs down, but we were able to select really nice plaques at a reasonable price. After over 25 years the Men's Club at Canyon Oaks Country Club needed a new way to recognize the past club president. Recognition Products aka Chico Awards designed and made the plaque locally. This large oak plaque not only listed past presidents but gave us room for the next 20 years to recognize past presidents. I wanted to get a yeti half gallon jug engraved for my one year anniversary with my boyfriend! Nobody around town could have it back in time for our anniversary.
