Their nurses did not show up on time, or did not show up at all. One nurse even put an incorrect number of pills in his medicine box! Another nurse, a supervisor, stopped him from taking his blood pressure pill after he had a very low blood pressure reading, without discussing the problem with his Primary Care Physician. Their Director of Nursing showed no compassion and caring towards him, refused to communicate with me as his Power of Attorney (POA) agent, and did not resolve problems he brought to her attention (including his report of Medicaid fraud by the supervisory nurse). Sad to say, this Director was rude, aggressive and disrespectful to him. The agency is totally incapable of delivering quality long-term care to persons with disability. We are giving the agency a rating of 1, just because we can't give it a rating of 0.

Brad identified we weren't making progress with my hip and suspected an injury that PT wouldn't help and referred me to an orthopedic specialist. Brad was right. I have a torn labrum (identified on MRI), which is what we had suspected. I truly appreciated his honestly, professionalism and desire to help me get the appropriate care. He didn't have me keep coming just to fill spots in his schedule or collect a co-pay. He had my best interest and recovery in mind. Brad has always been clinically excellent and professional and even though I'm not looking forward to surgery I know I will get excellent PT from him during my post-op and recovery phase.
