My mother with dementia ended up going to an emergency room, and then immediately to a memory care facility. Regardless of the fact that we did not see this coming, extended family home care continued to bill for 2 weeks worth of services which was about 1,200+ only because they were not notified of cancelling services. We had two other home care agencies providing services and neither one of them had this unethical billing policy. On top of that, some of the caregivers did not seem to provide quality care. And also had inconsistent caregiving services, with some cancelling last minute or did not even had the right skill level to care for my mother.

The worker was hired to work the overnight shift, she showed up in no uniform, no mask, said she had inadequate experience for the job, fell asleep twice, had to be physically woken, was rough with the patient and dog, failed to clean patient and then argued when asked to leave after being caught sleeping (literally laying down, feet on the couch, covering her face). The response from the company was unacceptable, they never replied to my email sent directly after she left, I had to call the 24 hour line multiple times to report her early dismissal and never got a return call. Further, after calling to follow up on my issue, I was told I wouldn't be charged for the horrible service and then received a text and voicemail message days later confirming further service. I again cancelled, citing an unacceptable initial experience and have now been charged $100 for this abhorrent experience. In short, the company (franchise) lacks in every area and customers would be wise to look elsewhere.

(sorry guys!!) but having just gotten out of being in the hospital for 3+ months I wanted my autonomy and freedom and ~ didn't feel like I needed to be "baby sat". I was quickly surprised to see that the girls were here to help in any way and I appreciate every single thing they have done to make me comfortable to make the my to make my house easier to live in and tackle my new medical complexities easier to manage, and continue Savannah started me out and got the worst of my resilience, but Barbie was soon to follow and swayed my belligerence to appreciation. Their clinicians are respectful of your time and home. I also appreciate how helpful their office staff is with getting wound care supplies and the wheelchair we needed. They followed up on our behalf and made sure we were kept in the loop. We have had 2 other companies before RGA but they don't hold a candle to them. They aren't a big corporation but I think that's why they are so good at what they do.
