They're so many I wanna give a shout out to, they're all so awesome, a little xtra shout out to some Techs Errrrrica, Sydney, Paul, Julie(Jules). The counselors are very understanding and knowledgeable, Bre and Court, you two ladies are great!! And nursing, lead by Director of Nursing "The Don" Gina, who had did have one flaw, she's a Giants fan, but other than that her staff are always there when to keep me as comfortable as they're allowed. A very xtra shout out to RN Catherine, Cat, like seriously Cat *hugs* I shattered metacarpals while I was there, bad decision on my part, and without hesitation, after a glance, she had transportation on their way to take me hospital. If I do have any issues arise, myself, again Sunrise Cherry Hill is where I'd go.. Thank you all!!! B

Family safety concerns were dismissed; serious continuity-of-care failures…read more I am writing from the perspective of a family member of someone who has been admitted to this detox facility multiple times over the past year. Our loved one has a documented history of severe alcohol use disorder, including prior ICU-level detox, a withdrawal seizure, and alcohol-related liver and gastrointestinal damage. Because of this history, continuity of care and accurate medication management are critical. During a prior transition from this detox facility to a rehabilitation facility, seizure medication was not forwarded as part of the discharge or transfer process. As a result, our loved one experienced a seizure shortly after arrival at the rehab facility. This was deeply alarming and raised serious concerns about care coordination and patient safety. Additionally, during a previous admission, our family was informed that our loved one was administered incorrect medication, including medication intended for another patient. Given these experiences, our family attempted to contact the facility during the most recent admission to provide factual medical history and express safety concerns prior to discharge planning. We were told we were "not allowed to call and tell them how to do their job." Calls were not returned, and our concerns were not meaningfully engaged with. We understand that addiction treatment is complex and that patients are often voluntary. However, dismissing family-provided medical history, refusing dialogue, and failing to ensure continuity of critical medications is extremely concerning -- particularly for repeat patients with known, life-threatening withdrawal complications. Families are often the only source of longitudinal information about patterns, relapses, and prior medical emergencies. In our experience, that information was not welcomed here. We hope this facility reflects seriously on its medication reconciliation, discharge coordination, and communication with families, especially when patient safety is clearly at stake.

I ASK EVEYONE considering Recovery Village of Cherry Hill to please read this. This is an honest…read more100% accurate qualification of the treatment you will receive. My entire life has finally changed, and it all began because I found a treatment center who cared about me as a human being and not as a financial number. The staff there, beginning with Fallon and Heather, all the way down to the BHT's are 1000% committed and dedicated only to the success of ones life. I have been to Recovery Village 4 times, and although I am not proud of that, they were always proud of me. As a matter of fact it's because of the facility and staff themselves that I even made it back there, because just because I walked out the door didn't mean they walked out on me. I received personal phone calls at home guiding me back to the facility and to the freedom and recovery I have today. I was fortunate enough to have Melissa T as my counselor, although I can't say enough about Angela, Brittany, Brandi, Tommy, Brent, Leigh & Erika either. That's the beauty of Recovery Village, no matter who your counselor is you are in the best, most caring hands. As for my treatment process with Melissa, as the saying goes she loved me until I could love myself. I walked in very honest about my self hatred, not in denial at all about the pain I had inside, that I never wanted to feel forgiveness, and was a hopeless case From grief, parenting, not being a woman, daughter, friend... I didn't even feel like a human being when I first sat down with her. And through all her patience, time, unrelentless personal dedication to me, calling me after I left the last time persuading me to fight for myself one more time - I can say today that I am a woman in recovery who loves herself, is forgiven, has forgiveness and compassion for MYSELF, and who wants to continue to be a better woman every single day. All because I had someone see these things in me before I could see them in myself, and wouldn't stop her pursuit until I did. If Melissa or a counselor wasn't available for any reason, or just needed 2 seconds of Fallons time, there was no hesitation at all in me thinking she wouldn't be there and ready with open arms to listen and/or help me in any way she could. Normally you do not see that in someone with the position that she holds, normally they are too busy for things like that. But never EVER Fallon. She made sure her face was seen and was accessible to any one of us, and never acted too busy to do so or it was a bother. The nursing staff, Kerry, Angie, Eric, Matt.. I could go on and on about them as well. Such patience, such care, such concern, such love. They GENUINLY cared about how we were feeling from Detox through the rest of the process. The love just didn't ever end. And the BHT's, the ones that don't get recognized NEARLY as much as they should, are absolutely amazing people. They spend more time with us than anyone, and make us feel like a friend way much more than a patient. Lori A, one of THE BEST women I have ever met, Al, who just was one of us and made sure we knew that, Aviana, who would do anything at any time for us, the list goes on and on. Last but not least the kitchen staff and the food they serve, I'm not sure which one is better. Chef Steve will know your name from the first time he learns it, Donna, Sheera, Brian & Devon will always make you smile and make sure you are satisfied and taken care of with a smile on their own face, I honestly can't say enough about the facility in a whole. The gym, which is run by Helene, who makes sure to incorporate physical activity as well as so many other fun activities while being such a ray of sunshine and your own personal cheerleader at the same time.... the classes and processing groups, run by all the counselors and allows us to dig so deep into ourselves in the safest emotional environment, the meetings that expose us to what recovery is like on the outside, the rooms that are so comfortable you forget you are in a treatment center, the kitchen and coffee/juice bar that makes you feel like you're at a hotel..... Recovery Village is a luxury place to heal inside and out and the staff they have working there are luxury in their own right. The first and last person you will see is Tina at the front desk, and you couldn't ask for a better welcome or goodbye by one of the sweetest, kind and caring women I've met. Every single thing about Recovery Village is designed to help YOU. That's it. You almost forget it's a business because every day the personalization outweighs business but a longshot. You will receive one on one counseling, medical, psych, case management, after care planning, You will not leave there alone in any way, shape or form. I can't say enough about this treatment center, and my journey has been a long one, I have many treatment centers behind me in my story, but i thank God for bringing me to a place that would fight my fight WITH ME.

This facility is top notch. Unfortunately I've been to a few places and this is the only one where…read moreI was respected, heard, understood and truly cared about. My counselor was amazing. She helped both me and my family through my recovery journey. Management was great. They walked around and actually talked with you and were always available if you had a comment or concerns. The kitchen staff knew your name and remembered what you liked and didn't like. Nursing was great. Doctors are from Cooper so they were unbelievable. I'm writing this because it's been 6 months and I just received my coin. I'm sober, happy and healthy and owe a lot of it to this place!
