Her staff is VERY professional, friendly, and welcoming to all genders, nationalities, personalities, etc. It's very easy to schedule/cancel/reschedule appointments and you are seen in a timely manner of your appointment time! No matter how you have felt at other addiction facilities you will feel like you have been to this practice many times with comfort and ease to get the supportive help that you most need. The patient rooms are very clean, with comfortable small couches to help you relax and be more yourself in an engaged, motivational and uplifting office visit. Also, they offer individual and group therapy sessions and, probably, other services that I don't know about. There is plenty of parking, handicapped parking too, easy wheelchair access and an elevator. Thank you Dr. Bascelli and staff for providing EXCELLENT healthcare services!!! YES!!!! Right out of the gate, that ask was not respected and group therapy was pushed in spite of multiple declines from both me and my son. When a young person needs help with setting boundaries, this sends a message "but your boundaries don't matter with us." After I canceled service, the counselor reached out to my son via text which I find to be inappropriate. I don't recommend this place.

The RECEPTIONIST was the one who administered the shot because I was told she was "QUALIFIED". This woman jabbed this needle in my arm so hard when I tell you I have never felt such instant pain like this in my entire life I truly mean it. It was like she had the intention to make it hurt. His drinking was getting worse and the whole family became involved in trying to help him get better. They considered 30-day inpatient places but they were not right. First off, I went into treatment with a good attitude and came out miserable and hopeless. I remember walking in the first day of treatment, ready to be free from my eating disorder. Some of the treatment staff (NOT ALL, some were great) made me feel as if my eating disorder will be present the rest of my life. I am a believer in full recovery so this literally crushed me! On my last day there (I went against treatment advice because I was not making any progress mentally), one of the staff members literally said, "what if you relapse again?" Really? I had been in treatment for 7-8 weeks and you waited to ask me this as I am about to walk out the door (and leave permanently)? Thanks for not giving me any relapse strategies in the 7 weeks I have been here. I know that if I relapse again, I will NEVER come back. Also, there were a lot of other issues with this program. The group size was way too big. Not a lot of individualized sessions and small groups. The food was mediocre. It was from Shoprite. Nothing special. Basically the same stuff all the time. I would not recommend this program to anyone, unless it is last resort. I have never been to any other treatment programs (so I have nothing to compare it to), however, please try something else first. I am making more progress on my own than what I was in treatment. Renfrew has such great intentions, but it needs a lot of changes.
