Tuesday morning it became obvious no one in Fargo could weld the camper back together. My only option was to purchase a flatbed to get the camper the 1000 or so miles home. The welding shop recommended Visto's so I header right over there. There, salesman Ryan was outstanding. I told him my requirements (if I was going to pay thousands for a trailer, I wanted to ensure it could hold other equipment I have at home) and Ryan pointed me to the appropriate trailer. He was patient while I talked to my bank to ensure I had the cash available for the unplanned purchase then loaded my crippled camper onto the new trailer and helped me hitch up. The whole experience was extremely positive when I was in a very stressed state of mind. I of course could not shop around to price compare, but I suspect Visto's was very fair in their pricing. I highly recommend Visto's and salesman Ryan.

They didn't have what I came in looking for, had sold the last 16' metal utility/hauler the day before. So I left. But the price for a 16' Aluma was SO LOW compared to West Coast prices, I came back and bought the Aluma. So happy with my purchase.

We headed out of Backus with a smile and cheer, and have loved camping in our buggy! This summer, we found that our hot water heater (insta hot) needed to be replaced because Scamp had not fully winterized it. From 2,000 miles away, Steve listened to our specific situation, asked a few questions, commiserated, and then said Scamp would get us a new one. Within 2 days, Steve had worked with Erica in parts, and she had shipped a new heater at Scamp's cost. What's more, Erica then asked for our installation cost reciept, and within 1 week we were fully reimbursed! Now that's some excellent cutomer and standing behind your product! Awesome company, campers, and most importantly, people! Thank you Steve and Erica, SP & Nathalie

I spoke with Jim on multiple occasions and finally paid the $500 down, which I think is a very small amount to get a camper built to my specs. They promised a date in December but delivered weeks early. My friend who has a much larger camper calls my Scamp "Peanut" due to its contoured shape. The name has sort of stuck. The Scamp team was awesome. The minute I arrived, they jumped into action. Within a few minutes I was in the factory going over my camper. It was special to walk in the door and there sat a new camper with my name taped to the window of the door. The wait was over. I wouldn't change a thing about my experience with Scamp Trailers. they really delivered. Peanut was exactly what I expected it to be...perfect! It pulls so well with my mid-sized pickup, and it sleeps even better. My truck typically gets 20 to 22 mpg on the highway and I averaged about 16 pulling Peanut. It is easy to set up and tear down and seems to be very self contained. I was worried the bathroom/shower would be awkward but it really is not. I would recommend getting a clear shower curtain to section off the toilet and cover the door. It was a nice addition. I read a couple blogs about the heater fan being too loud. I used the heater multiple times and never saw it as an issue. If you are in conversation, you do notice when it kicks on but, I did not consider it an issue. If I had to say there was an opportunity it would be in the A/C unit. Nothing wrong with the unit itself. I am exactly 6ft tall. The A/C drops down a couple inches from the ceiling so I had to hit my head a few times before I started ducking automatically. Raising that a couple inches would give that headroom back. Having to duck makes it feel like it is a little too small. It really isn't. Thanks Scamp for an awesome experience. Bill
