My son is neurodivergent (he has a hard time processing) and was not properly warned or trained on the expectations! So when he was fired without being talked to or asked to perform better, it was very confusing for him. I have called management twice and shown up in person once! No one will talk to us or give an official response of unemployment! I understand a $9 an hour job feels that people are expendable. But coming from previous management work "myself," I feel it is much better for a business to have understanding for employees (especially employees who have difficulties!) A few chances to work harder and make things better, rather than go straight to firing; is what makes a business last!!! Instead, our lane had so many technical issues that technicians had to come out FOUR separate times. We spent what felt like almost as much time waiting for the lane to be fixed as we did actually bowling. The pins and sweeper repeatedly got stuck, and there was a 4-6 minute delay between players on almost every turn. With only 90 minutes of bowling time, that downtime really added up and significantly impacted our experience. I do want to mention that the food was great and the staff was very friendly and helpful. However, we simply can't justify spending $75 for a 90-minute bowling experience when so much of that time was lost because of equipment issues. Hopefully the bowling equipment can be addressed, because otherwise it really takes away from what should be a fun experience.
