The place was hopping-almost as much as the Apple stores usually are. But here, there are far more children and brighter colors. But the vibe and the energy are similar. You'll find a variety of kits on display as well as some classic blocks that may take you back to your childhood. Luckily, I didn't step on a single lego on the floor, which is most people's nightmare. The folks who work here are helpful and pleasant. I wonder if they get to create some of the large displays before the store opens? That would be a fun job!

This place has every imaginable (and some that I could never have imagined) item you could use to educate your students. There are games, toys, science, art, craft supplies-name it, they've got it. I'm not a teacher, but was here supporting one and I was blissfully rocketed back to my elementary school days as I perused the bulletin board posters and felt story boards, to name a few. The finger paints are sealed, so I couldn't waft the happy scent of kindergarten across my nose...yes, I tried. Even if you're not a teacher, this store has neat things for parents as well. This toy store literally has a little of everything. If you collect any kind of toy, this store might have it. They did have a decent amount of Transformers for sale. My husband likes to have his toys new in a box and the ones that are available were the ones my husband already had. There was a Soundwave that was played with and out of the box. As much as they were asking for, my husband probably could find a new one in the box if he really tried. They were asking for decent amount for a used toy. This toy store was dope. The gentleman that helped us was really nice. We ended up not finding anything that we truly wanted but that doesn't mean you won't find your gem here. There seems to be mostly higher end toys here and I didn't see a lot of stuff on the junkier end of the spectrum. There is not a huge amount of selection, though, so I suppose they had to make some hard choices for shelf space. This was a pretty pleasant visit, despite behavior from one of their staff I will describe as "over eager" and I'd probably come again if I wandered through the mall. I suppose I could be more generous considering this is in a mall, but I didn't put the store there and I was a bit confused as to the motivation to have a shop in that particular place, which is something you have to intentionally try to find, in the first place...This is not what I would consider a particularly necessary stop, though overall pretty good, but definitely not great.

Conveniently, this shpp was a minute away from the Chinese restaurant we just had lunch at. So we made our way in. This toy store was literally a time capsule of our childhood. There were toys from when we were little that we totally forgot about. Rainbow Brite, Teddy Ruxpin, My Little Ponies, Mr. Potatoe Head. It brought back so many fond memories playing with these gems. You can find a little of everything here. It was neat looking at all the different collectables that the store had. My husband of course gravitated to the Transformers since he's an avid collector. There was a Soundwave that caught his attention but they were asking for 350 bucks for it and the box was pretty beat up. Maybe if the box was in better condition, my husband might have considered purchasing it. I overheard the gentleman behind the counter tell someone that they will be closing this summer. Sad hearing that since novelty stores like these are a rare find. It's hard for small businesses to compete against these big stores selling the big shiny new toys. Who needs a shiny new toy when you can get a dope ass old collectable to hang on to! We did leave without the Soundwave. We both felt bad leaving without buying anything but nothing really caught our eye. I hope that this store stays open a little longer than just summer. Initially I came in to buy some paint for a pilot model for one of my airplanes. I don't think they fully understood that the helmet was conical and would need a lighter shade of grey, almost a pure white color. I think the guy that helped the other two off duty cops knew what color I needed but he withheld which shelf and section I could find that particular item. I probably didn't Cross my T's and dot my I's. At first I didn't get greeted by the person walking up and down the isles and I had to greet the person who seemed to be buddy buddy with everyone. The person in the back didn't give the same level of customer service he did to the irish gentlemen as he did to me. I don't understand it. It was very... rigid. I had to say hello and ask how he was doing. He didn't respond, but honestly I think I understand why. This is a family shop. It seemed everyone there was family. Possibly all related. If I didn't look like their cousin or brother, then I wasn't going to get the same level of service. Anyways, I wasn't able to find the conical head apparel for the pilot on my air plane. Admittedly, I think they only sell conical shaped hats in specialty stores. I would suggest looking at their website before going in as there are two huge sections of their site that contain zero inventory. Overall, I think the customer service and friendliness was there, it just wasn't for me. I hope your experience is different and better.

Now for the people that work there they are friendly knowledgeable and most of all they give encouragement to new hobbyists! My family and I will go back to them always!
