Lakeshore has some of the best products and brands for classroom supplies available for teaching from Preschool through 6th grade. I love that we have a Lakeshore here in Utah! This is my favorite store to visit when preparing my classroom and looking for some new borders for bulletin boards. They have posters, name plates, stickers, learning games and other supplies. Whenever I visit, I find myself leaving with more than I came in for! Everything I have purchased from Lakeshore has been something that I have used in my classroom and students have benefitted from. read more

Love the store, love the staff, love the product! As a teacher it's great to know that they guarantee their products. I had a storage bin break and they exchanged it for me no questions asked. I also have a dozen of the bins and this is the only one I've ever had an issue with. I love that they have amply products on the floor to play with so you know what you are getting. Cool store for kids stuff. Learning materials like books and crafty items, to games and toys. You won't find the name brand, most popular toy on the market here, but you will find toys that are both educational and fun, especially for the younger kids that will just beat these toys up anyways. read more

Great place for school supplies or gifts for children. They have many ideas for science projects and even have demos several times a year. They guarantee their products. I appreciate that they always try to give me the best prices. Teachers need deals!! They have maps, reading guides, craft supplies, children's books in several languages and sizes, etc. read more

As a teacher, and as a parent, I think Lakeshore is a very useful resource. They have cheap laminating and a teacher's club card that saves you money. There are also free crafts on Saturdays for the kids that they love. There are also toys scattered around the store for the kids to play with. Some things are pricey and can be found elsewhere, but I have gotten quite a lot from Lakeshore for my business that I love and couldn't find elsewhere. read more

Way better than toys r us! I love this place. The service is great, they are so helpful and friendly. My kids love it here, there are always toys they can play with and "test" before I purchase them, and they also have Crafts to do every Saturday, I believe they're between 11am and 2pm. All the toys have a special purpose, they're to teach the kids something about manners, language, science, math, etc. They also have chemistry sets for younger kids (7 and up?) and all kinds of puzzles. I got my 3 year old a big calendar to put in his room, so he can get a notion of time, now that he's learning the days of the week, months, etc. He LOVES it. Prices are not crazy, some less than Toys R Us, some comparable, if you're getting the big car racing sets, for example. If you and your kids are into crafts, this is defintely the place you want to come! Their FB page has some coupons listed. Yelp also has a check-in offer right now (November/December 2013) so make sure you check in to claim your discount! read more

Today was my first time going to Lakeshore and I was really impressed! I was looking for teaching supplies I could use at home for my 3 year-old and they had a lot to choose from. The store is well organized with everything labeled and easy to find. All of the staff was friendly and happy to help with all of my questions. The representatives who helped me were all teachers as well, so they had a lot of insight and advice to share. I would definitely recommend lakeshore to friends and family! read more

So many beautiful memories for their family happened right here. I enjoyed painting it so much! I finished the first painting in January 2023. I took it to Artistic Wholesale. I'd been bringing my business to them for about two years. When I expressed concern about mailing such a large piece and when I asked if they could crate it, the sales associate pointed out that the guy who did the packaging had just walked in and I could ask him. I don't recall his name. He told me something to the effect of: "we do this all the time! It will be fine." Options of archival glass, museum glass, and plexiglass were presented to me. When plexiglass was suggested, I asked how it would look, and was told that glass would look the best. This painting was created to hang above a fireplace in the collector's home. I told them where the painting would hang and asked how plexiglass would look. I was told it wouldn't look as good as glass. No one mentioned anything about risk. So, I chose glass. I again asked: will this painting be ok being shipped with the way you package it? Again I was told, "no problem! We do this all the time." Once the painting was framed, which looked fantastic, Artistic Wholesale packaged it up to what they said was "UPS standards" and shipped it out. On February 14, 2023 I received texts, videos, and photos from my collector telling me that the package was completely intact, but that the glass was shattered, the painting was cut up beyond repair, and the frame had little nicks and cuts in it rendering it unusable. I was shocked and devastated, as was my collector. She told me that the only thing protecting the painting was a layer of foam core in front and behind the painting all wrapped in plastic sheeting material with a thin layer of bubble wrap. There was NO styrofoam, packing peanuts filling the box to cushion it, or corner pieces protecting the painting. Over the last months I've tried to get Artistic Wholesale to help make this right. I wish I could get UPS to reimburse my losses, but they have told me I can't get any sort of reimbursement, because it's now past 60 days. The UPS website indicates that only the shipper (which was Artistic Wholesale) can file a claim and, to my knowledge, they never did. The first painting took me 40 hours to finish and the second one took 26 hours ....not counting all hours of communication with my collector to assure them I'll completely take care of them; buying new supplies; attempting to get the frame company to cover some of the costs for this loss, my time lost in getting more commissions (I haven't been able to take any more new commission paintings while working on this), more materials, and new shipping costs; I've also worked for hours with a lawyer to try to get the owner of Artistic Wholesale to help out. The owner responded taking zero responsibility for what happened. Here's how I'm handling this situation for my customer: I've repainted the piece and am getting ready to ship the painting to a new framer near the home of my collector. I was fortunate to find a Fort Knox-type-impenetrable tube (from the kind people at Sugar House Awning) in which to ship the new painting. I'll roll up the painting, cover it in bubble wrap, and seal it inside this tube, then ship it off with the maximum insurance. This situation makes me sad, frustrated, and very upset that after YEARS of having a great relationship with Artistic Wholesale that the owner doesn't seem to care. However, it demonstrates to me, as a small business owner and consumer, the paramount importance of excellent customer service and taking responsibility for damages and unhappy clients. I'd recommend using another framer for your framing needs. I cannot in good conscience recommend coming to Artistic Wholesale because they don't own up to their mistakes nor do they take care of their customers when mistakes are made.

We returned to let them know, and the manager told us "straight is a matter of perspective" which made us scratch our heads, because, umm, have they have never seen a globe? The department manager also said "you didn't give me any instructions on how to place it on the mat". Welp, you didn't ask, and I've never had anything custom framed before, but way to try and gaslight your customer. Anyway, they said they would try to fix it, so we left it there for another week, and all they did was flip it 80 degrees & reposition the hanging wire. When we went to hang it on the wall, we noticed how terrible and not flush the corners are, I've attached photos to show how crappy the construction of the frame is. $430 bucks later, very dissatisfied with the quality and the customer service and have no hope they would correct this and do it right even if I took it back again. Also, apparently no one wanted to sign their name to the quality promise sticker on the back, so that seems worthless. Needless to say, way over priced and they did a horrible job on this frame. 11/10 do not recommend.

The photos I've shared below are only scratching the surface of the gamut of items that you can find at the antique mall. I ended up purchasing some small items to add to my shelf of collectibles at home, including my very first glass insulator. The staff are nice and everything is quite reasonably priced compared to CA antique stores. We will definitely be revisiting Capital City Antique Mall the next time we are in SLC!

Hardly any really unique booths. A few of the older vendors you might recognize, but the vibe is just very different.

I will definitely return and I will go out of my way to go here. Worth every dime of my money. 4* = Outstanding. Top-tier. Some elements not quite as good as it gets, but it still is worthy of my regular business. 3* = Good experience. I might do repeat business if it is convenient, the only option, the only one in its category, or on a whim, but would not be among the first thing to come to mind. Would definitely recommend you trying it to get your own take on it. 2* = Not so good. Would not recommend at all. Waste of money. 1* = How are they still in business? Stay away at all costs!

Filled with high quality (high price tag) clothes, toys, and accessories, I knew I'd find things she'd approve of. Being European, she wasn't going to be excited about the US's fast fashions for babies. I needed to hit a home run and a home run I hit. Thanks to Over the Moon. Very classic styles. Very well made.
