There was not a great cover on the mattress, it was torn. I would move and a puff of smoke would envelope me. When I asked about it I was told that no one had complained in 25 years... Follow up question was "You have not changed the mattress in 25 years?" I was looked at like I was crazy. Needless to say, we cut our 3 day visit to one night and got out! I have to say, the folks there were nice. They offered to let us change Kabins, they offered to give us a different mattress. (I had already booked a new place by then.) Seemed like loads of fun for kids. (Weird but fun...Halloween in August...loads of trailers with tons of Halloween gear. ??) The facilities are just old. Not what you expect from a KOA.

The $5 pancake breakfast on Saturday morning was so fun and really well organized! They had an ice cream truck come Saturday night as well. This park is kept up really well and clean. The activities building is VERY nice! Park is easy to get to and get in and out of with a big rig as well. This was also the most level spot we have had our entire trip. Huge upsides to this place also include their reasonable rates (including those for extra people) and lack of required deposit in advance. Only downside was the internet - only worked off and on maybe 50% of the time we were here. The cell service in this region is pretty spotty as well, so I'm sure the two are related. Definitely recommend this place!!
