Stumbled on this gem and so glad I did. Fantastic family atmosphere and great campground community. Owner/Hosts are on site and heavily involved in the local community. Clean and convenient facilities. Highly recommend!!! read more

100% WOULD NOT recommend! Perhaps some of the people here are nice and friendly but one gentleman or child I should say was extremely rude. I called asking for prices to use the dump station and fill up water. After being hung up on the first time this adult child answers the phone and says that the dump station is 65 dollars and continues to increase the price. He was not handling anything professionally and took some frustrations out on me for not reason. Wish I got that gentleman's name I would very much like to file a complaint. I hope you're experience is better than mine. read more

The pool is a nice cool dip on hot days and a nice warm dip on cool days! There is a fun campground that was recently updated for kids to have a great time. They also have fun kids games and fun things for adults. Did I mention they have awesome merchandise!!! Everything is at a reasonable price! There is an awesome potluck every now and then!! There a tractor rides for the little ones!!! EVERYONE seems to have a BLAST here!!!! The bath houses are clean and there is a nice laundry mat. So make a reservation here today and u will not be sorry read more

This is one awesome campground despite the Gentleman's negative remark below I can say boldly, up to the point he was evicted he absolutely loved it. The owner had to evict a tenant who had a terrible temper and repeatedly broke rules and caused huge scenes when confronted. Him and many other campers took it apoun themselves to stay with the camper with the terrible temper when he was being evicted and evading a needed police escort off the property on multiple occasions. This is by far the best campground in the area. The pool is cool and refreshing, the food is great and the activities are endless. The campground is very clean with excellent large shaded sites. You won't know a stranger here since everyone will greet you with open arms. We will continue to come back for our seasonal experience as often as we can. read more

Rotten egg smell in water system, and constant smell of sewage around entire property. Kids programs that are advertised either happen not on time or not at all. Most things that are on the schedule to happen don't occur at all. Owners Chris and Sally are very rude and disrespectful to Veterans. I would not go with kids as I have seen Chris make kids cry with no concern on numerous occasions. Pool is in poor shape with water constantly pumped in to compensate for leaks, so "heated pool" nope not if you never run the heater. If you like lots of police interaction it is the place for you however as the police are there very often as it is their method of control instead of handling things as any other business owner would. I was a seasonal there that was evicted for helping the Decorated Disabled Veteran pack up and leave. That was the only "crime" they had on me as I followed every rule. The owners can seem all nice until they have what they want from you then the switch flips and the true Waterhouse comes out I would choose anyplace else you can find unless you want to over pay to just plug in and hook up a motor home and stay inside it. Loose rock on road makes biking very hard, a 9 year old had a bad spill due to the loose rock and had to be taken by ambulance to the hospital, and a day or two later the owner had more loose rock placed on the road. read more

Racist owners. Owners yelled at me for asking them to change their sign from Columbus Day to indigenous peoples day. I did so in a very polite way, just making them aware of how offensive it is. The owner then threatens to call the police on me and follows me outside while using hateful speech. Would not recommend this place at all, the owners are children and don't like people of color. Save your money, hopefully one day they can get over themselves. read more

Stayed here two different times and we really enjoyed it. The owners Chris & Sally go out of their way to make you feel welcome and like family. They enforce the rules so everyone has an enjoyable stay. Lots of activities going on, always something to do. The campground is well kept and the pizza is delicious! We will visit again! read more
