Finally--Korean bingsu in Santa Clarita! This adorable husband-and-wife café is tucked inside the shopping complex next to One Bite Dumpling, and it's such a gem. We tried the mango and strawberry bingsu (both made less sweet). The strawberry was incredibly flavorful and fresh, while the mango had a light coconut touch that made it super refreshing. Loved both! The sweetest part? The owner noticed our kids and treated them to hodu-gwaja and taiyaki--such a thoughtful gesture. Definitely a spot we'll be coming back to!

I tried the Original Hodu with cream and the choco cream both absolutely delicious!!! Also tried the Mango bing su and Matcha bing su both were good but I feel like a needs a little more sweetness or maybe adding some of the fruit at the bottom so it won't be just flavorless shaved ice. Service was excellent! The place is bright and clean.

The Mango Bing Su was soooo good! Super yummy, refreshing, and full of sweet mango flavor. The snow ice was soft and creamy, and the toppings made it even better. Definitely a perfect treat and worth coming back for!

3/10/2026: My 94 year old Momma Kiki has been waiting for Red Bean to open for a month, and tonight was our first visit after having dinner next door at One Bite Dumpling. The owner William and I assume his daughter was at the counter (?) could not be more friendly and welcoming! The interior is bright, open and immaculate! They have tables and chairs to dine in if you don't want to take out. I love the way they have their menu items presented on the walls, and they have a large tablet in front for ordering.. it you can still order at the counter "old school" if you prefer. On the menu, they have taiyaki but not the traditional hand-sized type you might have seen before. These are smaller, two-bite taiyaki with assorted fillings and they should all be sampled! They also have a "walnut cookie" with red bean filling that is adorable and delicious when fresh and hot. We shared a small Injeolmi Bingsu and it couldn't be cuter! Their package branding is Tiffany blue with their little fish logo. From their boxes for the taiyaki to the bands around the plastic cups.. and the takeout bags (I neeeed one of those!) they're doing great marketing. The only constructive criticism I could give would be, the taller cylindrical cups for the Bingsu are more difficult to eat from, especially if sharing. I'm used to shallow bowls with a wider top to "dig in"! But it's not a deal breaker. If you're used to Japanese kintoki shaved ice desserts or Hawaiian shave ice, this is a little different. It's shaved fine like snow, but it isn't ice made with water. Bingsu has a blend in it before frozen and shaved, and I like it! Come in, introduce yourself to William and family and say HI! Taste something new and delicious! They're closed on Mondays but are otherwise open until 10pm.

Finally, a Korean Bingsu and bung-o-ppang mom-and-pop cafe in Santa Clarita!!! Located at Lyons and Waxman (across the street from OLPH Church), I've been here twice now....the first time, I had four pieces of bite-size bung-o-ppang, two filled with red bean, the other two filled with custard. The second time, I had the strawberry Bingsu. They certainly delivered both times....a very welcoming atmosphere, quick and efficient service, and delicious treats. Many more visits to come!! 감사합니다~~

Vegan red bean bingsu. (Substitute for coconut milk with no condensed milk).

Vegan Bingsu! Request to substitute the milk with coconut milk and request to remove the condensed milk. The owner was extremely sweet and accommodating with trying to make it vegan and added more red bean to balance out the flavor. It was really delicious! Loved the environment, food, and service.

Lots of delicious treats to chose from. The server was pleasant as she prepared our Matcha Bing Su. We truly enjoyed the ambiance and I will be returning soon to enjoy the other treats.

    18 piece custard taiyaki

Cute place. White and wood decor. Menu is small but focused. We ordered the 18 piece taiyaki filled with custard cream for $20. Each mini shaped fish is about 3 inches long and 1 inch thick. Thin crispy waffle shell. We expected custard oozing out instead these were filled with mochi custard. Unexpected and surprisingly fun to eat Best eaten warm. For the 3 of us, the 18 pieces were good enough. The 3 people behind the register were talking and at times a bit distracted, but that's probably because they're newly opened and trying to figure things out. Well come again to try their shaved ice

Inside of the Dujjonku - absolute heaven if you like the Dubai deserts

My first time trying Bing Su. I grew up with Chinese shaved ice and Hawaiian shaved ice. This is actually topping all of that thanks to the fact that they make their "snow" with a milk-based mixture and it is incredibly light and refreshing. So far we've tried the Chocolate with normal toppings and (because we begged) woth strawberry toppings and the milk snow texture is just so on point. The toppings for the regular chocolate combo are really sweet, more Americanized like oreo etc but delicious. Chocolate Bing Su but they let us change the toppings to the strawberry which we promptly told them was absolutely even more amazing then the normal chocolate. But, the creamy chocolate of the snow complimented the sweet/tartness of the strawberries and chocolate sauce version even better. So so good. And then there's the Dujjonku, basically a Dubai filling with a chocolate mochi outside. They make it in house and it is AMAZING. I did not need to know about that one haha we have now been here twice in less than a week. Also, which is always a phenomenal plus, it's a family run business and dad, mom abd daughter are all delightful and give wonderful customer service. So fun chatting with them. We'll be back soon, especially on this scorching hot weekend.

Just opened in the Santa Clarita area!! Got the Chocolate Bingsu and it was the perfect size to share with my sister. Tasted wonderful and light, perfect for the California weather! Employees are sweet and service was fast! Very happy with what I ate!!

    Matcha Bingsu and Injeolmi Bingsu

The shaved ice itself was incredibly light and fluffy, and not overly sweet. The owners were very kind and welcoming, which made the experience even better. I ordered takeout, and they carefully packaged the bingsu in an ice box with an ice pack to keep it perfectly chilled. I will definitely be coming back.

    Food

The food is really good. If you guys are looking for sweets in santa clarita go here. Service is fast. Ambience is chill.

The atmosphere was lively and cozy at the same time, with lots of people hanging out late at night enjoying dessert together. It felt like such a fun spot for a late night sweet treat. I ordered the single green tea shaved ice and the single mango melon shaved ice, and both were amazing. The texture of the shaved ice was incredibly soft and fluffy, almost like fresh snow. The green tea flavor tasted rich and authentic without being too sweet, while the mango melon one was super refreshing and loaded with fresh fruit flavor. The portions were generous even for the single size, and everything tasted really high quality. Service was also quick and friendly despite how busy it was when I went. Honestly, probably the best shaved ice I've had so far. Definitely worth the hype and somewhere I'd gladly come back to again.

Seating was completely full and spills over to an extra room they have for seating. The waiting line was out the door for the two ordering kiosks. The Injeolmi Shaved Ice was my favorite. It is a creamy milk flavor. Ice was finely shaved and melted in the mouth nicely. Mochi pieces gave it extra texture. Dirty green tea oreo shaved ice has a shot of coffee on the side to drizzle on. The green tea isn't really a strong taste and the ice just makes it more watery. Coffee drizzled on just made the dessert a little more bitter. Overall an okay place for shaved ice. I'll probably only order the injeolmi shaved ice next time!

The Bischoffee or Banana Latte or Corn Coffee were all very tempting but I went for my preferred drink these days Strawberry Matcha although as I stood there waiting for my drink (which quite a bit longer than my friends American) I was regretting not trying one of their insane looking coffee drinks (aka deserts). My BF said his Americano was excellent, not acidic or bitter in any way. My strawberry matcha was good, a bit too jammy, but not cloyingly sweet although the matcha itself was mildly flavored, it was highly caffeinated since it kept me from falling asleep at my regular time. If I was in the area I'd absolutely go back there again.

With plenty of parking since it's located in a shopping plaza, this small shaved ice and boba shop may be the only shaved ice in the area. I haven't really searched for any others because Brian's always gets the job done. I remember this was one of the first shops, back in the day, that had the dole whip ("they have the dole whip that Disneyland has!!") and people used to come for that. Now you can get dole whip anywhere but those were good times. They haven't expanded on the size, but they've kept this place up and the service is still excellent. Every time I come in, the seats are clean, if people aren't sitting in them and the vibe is cool. I used to always order a shaved ice, but lately, my oldest and I have been into their boba drinks. My youngest always get a shaved ice with 3 flavors and he loves some sour spray. My oldest always gets a milk tea boba and I switch off between all the milk tea boba flavors. This time I went with the jasmine milk tea and I wasn't feeling that one as much. I am a fan of lavender, caramel, taro, Thai and chai, and my goal is to ultimately try them all. I highly recommend Brian's after all of these years and make sure to grab a stamp card. If you have kids, it'll fill up fast! 10 stamps gets you a free item! OOOOO 5 out of 5 Afros
