We decided to have a Hawaiian luau-themed party, and it turned out beautifully![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The restaurant was very accommodating. If you're hosting a party for fewer than 25 people, you'll need to put down a deposit of $20-$25. For 25 or more guests, the deposit is $50. The great part? You get a gift card in return that you can use toward food, tips, or anything you like. We originally planned for 30 guests, then bumped it to 35, and we ended up with 40 people. Despite the growing guest list, Red Crab handled it with grace. Our waitress, Simone, was amazing! She took great care of us throughout the entire event. This wasn't our first time at Red Crab -- over the years, it's become the place our family chooses for special occasions. Everyone just loves it here. She brought this to the manager's attention, and he proceeded to be rude and disrespectful to the point where other patrons had to get involved. He then demanded his food back, after it had been given to her, and followed her into the parking lot, yelling and screaming after she had paid. I've never encountered an establishment where the staff member attempts to fight the consumer; and the manager, doesn't listen to the concerns of the customer. We came to Hampton for the Black Beard Pirate Festival. We decided that we needed a seafood dinner and found the Red Crab. We are SO VERY GLAD we did. We had hush puppies, a shrimp po-boy, fried shrimp with French fries, shrimp fried rice, and a seafood pasta. EVERYTHING we ate was delicious!
