I've recently been trying to get more into "antiquing" as I decorate my little house and give it some personality. And though I'd driven past this mall many times, I finally stopped in a few weeks ago. What a neat place! It's not the biggest antique mall ever, but the booths (most of which are pretty small) are generally well organized and full of interesting finds. Some have themes (like kitchen, or mid-century), and there are all sorts of vintage items throughout. Clothing, toys, furniture, sporting goods, baskets, automotive... you name it and it's probably in here. I really enjoyed the atmosphere here, and the fact all the booths I visited were clean, stocked, and well organized. I'll definitely be adding this to my regular rotation for vintage shopping! read more

Hey, I don't want to be a jerk but I was so looking forward to going out on a Wednesday afternoon to shop at a favorite antique store. I am so careful to not make risky trips that are unnecessary in this time of COVID so called before to make sure they had a mask required policy. Except employees ! I know this is very controversial but my life is at risk. My mental health is at risk. For me the atmosphere of an antique mall is just as important as the things that are being sold. Walking in you could just see the quality of merchandise being sold, the overall atmosphere and how inviting it was. Everything was displayed extremely well and had a good flow. Not the largest antique mall but still very good for browsing around. I would go back often if it weren't so far away. read more

This place has some cute items, but I cannot recommend it as a destination during COVID times. At least two patrons were openly walking around without masks, and the same employee photographed in a recent review was also not wearing a mask. I had approached the register to inform the employee of the two maskless patrons, but upon seeing that the employee was also maskless, I just decided to leave. With so many excellent antique options in Skagit and Whatcom Counties, I have no reason to risk the health of myself and my family by patronizing shops who choose not to uphold essential health and safety standards. This isn't about politics or person preference-- it's about public safety. I will consider returning to Red Door if they decide to actually follow public health standards, but the whole experience left a very negative impression. read more

I wasn't able to leave the Red Door Antique Mall without buying something. That tells you something. They have neat finds here! It's clean. It's organized. It doesn't feel dangerous during Covid because people can just move to the next little display area if you are occupying one in their path. It's a nice, big place. I found a little old school "Thelma" or was it "Velma"? figurine from Scooby Doo show. Hadn't ever seen one before. I got one of those walnut cracking novelties that looks like a little wood stump with bark on it. I've always wanted one. It comes with the metal nut cracker and picks. We had a lot of fun there. read more

Certainly worth a visit. Nicely organized and a good variety of interesting things to consider. Aisles a little too narrow for my taste during this COVID time, and some of the patrons weren't really doing a good job of social distancing, but that is something in my control so I moved out of the crowded area. Was welcomed by the employee behind the counter. I will go back when I am in the area again. I didn't make any purchases today. read more

Great little antiques mall just off I-5 in Mount Vernon. This place is an underrated gem! First off, it's one of the cleanest and well-merchandized antique stores I've been to. Staff are all friendly, approachable and helpful. I've been collecting for over 25 years and my father was a dealer so believe me when I say there are few this welcoming. Great selection of merchandise and it's all displayed with care. Best of all, the dealers in the mall are not absentees - they're often on-site, tweaking their displays. Prices are quite reasonable across a wide range of items. If you like browsing antique stores (or even if you usually don't) this place is is highly recommended. read more

If I could give this place a zero stars I would. We have been coming to this antique mall for several years all the way from Oregon city Oregon every summer and we always carry our tiny 4 pound teacup Pomeranian under our arms and the clerk has always made over her and been happy to see her AND allowed her inside happily!! Today we are up 5 1/2 hours away from home eager to come in the door and a clerk stands there blocking the door sweeping dirt on to our feet and my very expensive brand-new shoes in the doorway without letting us go by , turns around and kind of giggles at us as shes sweeping dirt on to our shoes and then the other clerk or owner comes to the door and says she can't have our dog in the store due to insurance? We reminded her we are regulars , trying to jog her brain to remember us and have bought a A LOT from this mall and we "always " have had our very tiny dog with us - it is 75° , August and too hot to leave her in the car and no other store has turned us away up in LaConner or Coupeville since arriving two days ago or ever ! We can certainly understand if there is food inside but there isn't. It's just a bunch of antiques . If she were to have said to us that they had a bad dog incident happen inside the store we would completely of understood but nothing was said. I am not going to patronize them and give them my business by locking my dog up in the hot car when we've never had to over the years before and have been regulars and to be treated this badly today. We made the drive all the way over from where we were staying 15 miles a way for nothing! Needless to say we are NEVER ever coming back here again! Shame on you! read more

Great antique mall. Well organized, good lighting. I purchased a $25 industrial-style metal cabinet. Fit my space perfectly. Couldn't be happier. The woman running the mall that day was friendly and very helpful -- even helped me load cabinet in car. Had to leave my dog outside. Inconvenient, but perfectly understandable given it's a mall with multiple vendors whose merchandise must be respected. I stopped by this small antique mall on my way back to Seattle from a trip to Canada. I found the owner to be very nice and helpful. This isn't a huge antique mall, but big enough to easily spend an hour browsing. The store is very well organized and each vendor's section is nicely displayed and free of too much clutter. Often times these antique malls are so stuffed with 'junk', that you can barely get through to find anything. I really appreciated how nicely organized the Red Door Antique Mall was. They also have a nice array of items, so there's something for everyone! I would highly recommend Red Door Antique Mall. read more

This is our #1 stop for antiquing...The store is in Mount Vernon across from Skagit Valley Coop. The place sell lots of stuff and the stock changes a lot making each trip a chance to find neat things. The pricing is quite reasonable and there is virtually no junk. The aisles are wide enough so you don't feel like you are going to trip on anything. We go there regularly and the owner/staff makes us so welcome. My last trip there I watched some out of staters get the same treatment as we do. They are genuinely nice people... Well worth a visit. read more
