My wife took a ring from her recently deceased mother in to have it redesigned to match another ring of her's. She wanted something special and was really excited to have something in memory of her mom. She was depending on this jeweler for their wisdom and advice. She was very specific on what she wanted in making sure the new design matched her current ring. They assured her they could do what she requested and charged a lot of money to do the work. She then picked up the ring, went home and found that the ring did not match at all!! In fact, the ring is hideous! She went back and they basically told her that was the best they could do. They also told her that her original ring needed major repairs. We brought the ring back to the Shane Company where we bought it. They guarantee the ring for life and said it only needed a few diamonds re-secured. I am now stuck with listening to how disappointed she is and it is truly disheartening. We are now stuck with spending more money to correct something they did poorly. They essentially robbed us blind and do not deserve a penny. I chose Warren Jewelers in Burlington WA to build a custom ring for my wife. it was a simple Mickey Mouse head ring with 3 diamonds set in white gold. I provided the diamonds and the golf yet the quoted prices was over $800. I agreed and waited several weeks for the ring to be done. Once it was done the real lack of jewelry making skills was very apparent with pock marked gold, the symmetry was wrong, overall just not well built. I showed my wife the ring and she said she was headed that way and would talk with them. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The jeweler who built the ring was there and once my wife pointed out the issues he began harassing my her very aggressively, actually yelling at her in the store so much that the other ladies in the store we concerned.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I returned To the store and was hot, how dare they disrespect my wife. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The store manager caught me and apologized profusely calming me down.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They took the ring again to fix it, but when I got it back a week later it was still ugly. They had enough help so I was able to take as much time as I needed without feeling like I was holding up someone else. Overall I had a very relaxed and enjoyable experience. The prices are reasonable, and they were nice enough to gift wrap my package as well, even though they were very busy with the holiday season. I had a ring made here a while ago. It was a simple band with small diamonds set in the top half of the band. It was solid gold on the bottom. I brought them a bunch of my old jewelry and diamonds. They still charged quite a lot more than I thought, since I brought in so much gold and lots of small diamonds. But was happy because it was from my grandmothers jewelry. A couple tiny prongs were snagging, so I brought it in to be repaired. They said it would be 100 dollars. I thought they should just fix it but I agreed. After being in there 25 minutes, getting the run around from all the employees, the jeweler in the back told me he found it. Then there was phone calls made, then they said they were searching for paperwork. They finally come out with my ring, and say that they have texted me numerous times. I have NEVER RECIEVED ONE text. I asked them why wouldn't they call and actually speak to me?? Of course they said nothing. They wanted 1,500 dollars to reset the channels, that they made!! The ring was made not that long ago and was not worn a lot. I asked them to fix another ring they did not make, that an emerald fell out of. They said it would take about 1,800 dollars to rebuild the ring. So I took the ring back to Charles Fine Jewelers, who made that ring. They fixed it for 81 dollars and change. What the heck?? I will NEVER buy a thing, or ever have this place make another piece of jewelry for me!!! read more

My post is primarily for the Kirkland location and secondarily for this Burlington location. Many don't realize that Warren Jewelers has been around since the 70s. I've been buying small, affordable things and watch batteries at the Kirkland location since the 80s. After moving north, I now get my watch battery services done at the Burlington location. I agree with other posters, a coupon for watch battery replacements will make the process a lot less painful. They also offer a battery punch card. I've never had any custom work done at either location and can't vouch for any of their couture/fine/premium bling, but they've been in business for 47-odd years and that doesn't happen by accident. read more

My fiancé helped designed a white saphire engagement ring for me, when he purposed to me I immediately noticed a difference. When I showed it off to family and friends they even noticed. I brought it back to them, they said that I must of got lotion on it or got it too hot/burnt something on it. My first thought was how? How do you mess up 1/3 stones? How can white sapphires be affected by heat, when they are made by heat and pressure to begin with? When I got it back the first time, there was too much polish residue on it tinting it blue so I couldn't really tell if it was fixed. I live an hour away and my work schedule doesn't line up with their hours well. Then covid happened and their hours were even worse. I brought it back one last time asking them to look at it and to fix it. They took it from me didn't say anything about it. When I got it back a week after, I told them in store it wasn't fixed. They said not everyone notices it, we have a lot of people from boeing who are detailed oriented and it might bug some more than others.They also said that we picked out the stones in the first place when designing the setting. How is that an acceptable answer? I said I agreed to the shape and carat of the stones, that's it. I asked them to email me prices and options for me to get it fixed, they never did. Took it to Fred Myer jewelers less than 3 weeks later to see what they can do, they mentioned the stones were loose. How come that wasn't adjusted the last time I left the ring with them for a week? I plan on having this ring for forever, and they can't even make it right? The whole time they just try to up sell me from white sapphires to diamonds saying it will make it better somehow. I in no way recommended working with them on a custom piece or buying from them at all. You are better off buying from a department store for fine jewelry compared to this place. after my experience today i thought to look up their reviews and after today I am not surprised regarding the negative responses from customers. I went to them to have watch batteries replaced and I was quoted a price and a date and time to pick them up. they wrote down the price and details of the work they would do and they also took my contact information to get ahold of me when they were done or (you would think) for a call if they ran into something that would need to be renegotiated if needed. I went in today after having received a text to say it was done and to come pick the watches up. when I arrived a young lady met me at the counter and proceeded to charge me for double the price quoted. I asked for more information being that the price agreed upon had changed. the young lady proceeded to explain but was not making sense, she called the manager and the manager did the same. I asked two questions, if you have my contact info, why not call or text me to say that the price quoted would change? and two, why not price the watches correctly being they are the professionals? why should I have to burden their mistake? honor your price and eat your mistake as a professional business. it will ensure trust and continued client business. today they lost another of many others from what I see in the comment. good business practice ensures repeat customers. I have now ordered my watch repair kit today for $20. I would have saved $160 today. lesson learned. read more

My phone inquiry and drop-off were handled very efficiently and professionally by Rachel. Unfortunately, due to some structural issues with the ring, which is showing its 26 years of wear, the work could not be completed during the time we were in town. To keep this relatively short, my husband purchased a necklace for me for Christmas on December 18th. Unfortunately I did not like it so we decided to exchange it. The first time we visited to exchange the necklace I explained I was looking for a ring instead and wanted to stay in the same price range. I was met with unnecessary comments regarding how much time my husband spent to choose this item, and then presented with items ranging anywhere from $100- $1k over the amount I was going for. I decided to return with my husband. Yesterday he and I both returned and i asked about a ring with white sapphires to keep the cost down but I was informed that I 'HAD' to buy diamonds or it would look awful in a few years. We then met with a sales rep that has witnessed my first visit and she was talking to the woman who had 'helped' me at that visit. The first woman who has 'helped' me told the woman helping us today 'this is the girl that wanted to exchange the necklace, remember?' The 2nd woman replied quickly that she did remember me and it left my husband and I feeling like we had been talked about behind our backs. We explained to the sales rep what we were looking for and she repeated that what I was interested in was completely out of budget despite my husband already spending a few hundred dollars on the necklace. I inquired about a ring and she laughed and said it wasnt even close to budget but she could show me anyway. This repeated a few times leaving my husband and I feeling like we were being looked down on and we decided not to exchange. We would have returned it for a refund however, their policy is a 7 day return. Being purchased on December 18th meant that we would have had to bring it back by Christmas day. So we left, without anyone telling us good bye. Never. Ever. Go to Warren Jewlers. All they look for is more money from you, and they do not even try to assist you when you're on a 'lower' budget.WE ALREADY SPENT A FEW HUNDRED. This has been the worst experience and left me in tears multiple times. Simply the best when it comes to jewelry repair! I recently took in a simple silver band to be soldered back together. Told the efficient and courteous gal at the desk that they could take their time and if it shows a seam, I will not be upset. Four days later, I received a call that it was ready and when I picked it up, it was perfect. No seam to be found. I was quoted a fair price and having seen (but forgot to print) a coupon giving me $25.00 of the repair, they honored it saving me another $10.00. BEWARE! Trust your gut, if a place feels like they are being shady and trying to scam you, they probably are. My fiancé and I went in looking for wedding bands. Neither of us know anything about jewelry and unfortunately I think the sales people quickly picked up on that. For a simple gold band I was quoted a very low price, I mentioned that I had a ring I was hoping to trade in and they offered me a very high amount for it, all great things right? Here's where the scam came in... When we got to the register suddenly the simple gold band was over 3x what they quoted me! When I inquired as to why, they said that the person who was helping me was not in sales, but was a jeweler and had forgotten to factor in "taxes and fees," oh, but wait the amount of these "taxes and fees" just HAPPENED to be the exact amount they were offering me for my trade in. Did you catch what they did there? I almost didn't. If I had gone with the deal, I would have walked out the door paying what they originally quoted for the gold ring and they would have gotten my trade in diamond ring for free. I trusted my gut, walked out and went to Charles Jewelers. Sure enough they confirmed we were getting scammed. Charles' price for a simple gold band was very low, no taxes/fees AND they gave me a great price for my trade in. By going with a different jeweler I saved over $700. These people run a scam! I went in to have my ring re sized and polished. Three days after I brought my ring in, they called me and told me that they would need to charge me $200 over what they had quoted me because one small diamond was missing from one of the prongs. this small diamond will be hidden when my engagement and wedding rings are fused together. I informed the store that I just wanted the work I had paid for done and nothing more. These people said they would refuse to do any work on my ring unless I paid them an additional $200. When I went to the store to pick up my ring, they said they had no record of my payment. I saved the receipt thank goodness. Even with the receipt the store clerk told me she could only give me store credit. I was livid. I informed her I payed for the repairs that had not been done with a debit card and they needed to refund my card. She puttered around pretending she didn't know how to work the visa card. They are running a SCAM!!!! terrible service. I went to a new jeweler, Sofie's in Bellingham, and all the repairs even the little diamond chip replacement cost me $100.
