Over it after a few visits with consistently declining experiences. They are in love with a candle scent that is constantly burning and makes the store and clothing smell. This shows little regard for those with fragrance sensitivities, especially in a small c l o t h i n g store. Feels like a shift in the managing staff with more pretentious attitude and less wearable styles. Needed an in-stock item in a different size and the staff didn't offer to help find it. Such a cute boutique! I love shopping small & independent, and this was both. I had to do a quick sweep of the store, because we were actually in town for the Strawberry Festival. I went here by suggestion of an acquaintance and I have to tell you that I was impressed! The styles were a mix of young contemporary conservative styles to woman's. Even though I own an online boutique myself, I actually bought a few things from there because the woman was just so helpful and nice! Myself and two friends went into the Red Door yesterday, 8/26/21, around 5:15 pm. There was one other customer in there at the time so it was certainly not crowded. The woman running the store, (slim, shoulder length hair) not sure if she was the owner or an associate merely glanced at us and proceeded to do her thing. While the merchandise in this boutique is great, the same cannot be said of this woman. She was cold, unhelpful, unfriendly and left each of us with the impression that she would rather we all just left. At one point, I asked the price of a blouse, she took the item away from me to get a price and then didn't return with it. I told her I had actually wanted to try it on - perhaps she felt the price was out of my range? After trying on the blouse (it was too big) and coming out of the changing room, she asked me "Are you done now?' To which I replied "I guess I am". I purchased a sweater, and my friend bought several other items, but in a time when small businesses are falling to online giants, that individual customer service can make or break a business. The vibe from this woman was so far from friendly that it was almost tangible. We all felt it and it will seriously make me pause before ever stepping foot in that establishment again or refer it to a friend. Such a shame because they have some beautiful items in there. read more

Great for prom! The staff was friendly and listened well to my daughter's wishes as well as mine. Their dress selection was decent. For prom, they record every girl's dress in the "book" so that they don't sell the same dress to another girl from the same school. The fitting room is a teen-aged girl's dream... comfortable couch with throw pillows for the "entourage," full length mirrors and a sparkly chandelier. But the best part is that only one party is booked for trying on at a time - you aren't fighting 50 other girls for dresses and dressing rooms. So yes, you need a reservation! At this shop each girl or group of girls gets the full attention of the sales woman and each girl feels incredibly special spinning around the room. Plenty of accessories to choose from too. Only negative I can offer is that the price range is tight on the lower end... cheapest dresses were starting around $275 and there were only 1 or 2. You can definitely find equally nice dresses at the department stores for less money. Here, though, you are paying for personal attention, and "the experience" as well as the dress. So be prepared to spend big bucks if you go there for prom. read more

I'm visiting my sister who recently moved to East Hampton this weekend and she mentioned a super cute boutique in town that we should pop into. I am so glad we did because the both of us have find our new favorite shop! The style and taste of the store is spot on and we found a dozen items to try on right away. The woman helping us was super kind and helpful and I am so thrilled with all the additions to my Fall wardrobe we found.
