I've been going to InReach Physical Therapy since at least 2018 (when it was RehabAuthority). This…read moreused to be a top-notch outfit, and being so close to where I live, was even convenient to boot. The practitioners are very good at what they do, friendly, and good to work with. They also worked with ND Crime Victims Compensation for payments post-insurance filing, making my therapy smooth and hassle-free. However, they recently outsourced all their billing to a company in Pasadena, CA, and all that changed instantly. On top of this company being unreachable at any time at the number on the statement, the local office of InReach flatly states "we don't accept third party payers" (which is shocking, considering that's what insurance is), and refused to work with ND Crime Victims Compensation at all. Even after being the go-between to relay the invoices to ND CVC, the payments would get lost in the mail, and I ended up having to ask ND CVC to call the local office to have a card payment made. The cherry on top of all this is that ND CVC pays 80% and requests the provider write off the remainder (which every single provider I've ever been to, including this one in the past, has done without issue). But not anymore. Instead of writing it off, they proceeded to collect, stating "We have applied those payments to your account but you would still be responsible to cover the difference. They paid 80% which will leave you 20% of the balance to pay. This is also how we would handle an insurance that pays 80% and the patient pays 20% coinsurance. If you have any further questions, please let me know!" I actually stopped going to PT because of this. If you are a victim of violent crime in North Dakota and receive compensation for medical bills related to the injuries through ND CVC, I highly recommend you go elsewhere for physical therapy.

Those at the front desk were always very welcoming and friendly. Dr. Nicholas was so kind, caring, compassionate, and genuinely interested in me and the progress I was making.
