I am an RN and I work in a hospital, wear my face mask for 12 hours at work and take the necessary precautions to keep myself and my family safe. When I need to go shopping, I go into Aldi's in Chicoppe and see other shoppers walking around shopping in the store without masks on, or taking them off once they get into the store, no one seems to be enforcing the use of face masks at this store. This is the third time that I have seen this at this store, and Chicopee was the city where they were enforcing limits of shoppers at all the stores at the beginning of Covid-19, it seems people are becoming lax and as a medical professional this concerns me.

I have to admit however that one of my main reasons for going is because they carry Ground Up flours. Ground Up is a local flour mill based in Holyoke, MA that doesn't use any kind of GMO or chemicals. This is the flour that my favorite bakery (Hungry Ghost Bread in Northampton) uses to make their delicacies. You can visually see and taste the difference in this flour. My mom who usually reacts badly to storebought gluten products has no issues whatsoever with this variety of flour. We used to think she was gluten intolerant but now we think it's probably whatever stuff they spray on wheat to keep bugs off that she's reacting too. But really, people shouldn't be consuming plants that have been sprayed by harsh chemicals or has been genetically modified which is another reason why I appreciate Dave's natural garden. People working there are really nice and help you with whatever you need.

It was nice to bring my 2 year old and let him run around the farm. The produce was great quality, and organic from what I've read. Sadly, we wasted more than we ate. You pick a lot at one time, and must eat it quick or it goes bad, and being a full time working family, we found it hard to find time to prepare everything. I won't be signing up again next year, It's not the farms fault, but my own. I would like to visit once in awhile next year, and just buy what I need at the moment.
