(18k plus) Of course...quick to reply, quick to quote, yes, there's a "warranty" and lots of how their company is "different."And yes, the paint job looked great....for the 1st 3-4 years...and now? Barely 7 years later and I'm looking at having it painted again. Actually, that's not accurate...I was looking at painting it 4 years after I initially painted it. Yes I know about the harsh winters, blah blah...but paint has gotten better...not worse. . I used Ben Moore a quality paint and still the house looks like it hasn't been touched in at least a decade. It's not the paint....it's the labor and the prep I question. Poor caulk, poor primer, allowing the clapboards to get wet. In fact, Chris casually mentioned to me during the project that they initially used the wrong paint but they fixed it.....Huh? We had a contract...it was all in writing. I've left at least 3 messages on Chris's voice mail. through out the years..the 1st when the paint began to peel which was within the 1st 4 years. And then several times without any reply. I didn't expect a reply so no surprise there. Buyer beware...they may paint interiors well and they may have 5 stars but I would seriously consider using this company for exterior painting.

The purpose of this review is to warn others about this company. We hired them to remodel our…read morebathrooms, paint our fireplaces and fireplace covers with fire- rated paint, and to to refinish our bathtub and showers by using epoxy paint. This "professional" painting company painted everything with wrong paint. They used door, trim, and cabinet paint to refinish our tub and showers instead of epoxy paint (Please see photos). They painted our fieplace and fireplace covers with acrylic paint. When we caught them with the wrong paint they said that they can strip the paint and re-paint it for us. When they stripped the paint, they over stripped it and caused irreversible damage to our 2 showers, tub, fireplace covers, and fireplace marble. They admitted to fault, but their solution was to replace $3000 custom fireplace screens with $350 screens from Amazon that didn't fit. Mind you that we have 2 custom fireplaces (2x $3000/cover) that they destroyed in different areas of the house. Moreover, they told us to use tape to fix a 3 inch crack in our tub that they destroyed. We weren't happy with their solution so we made a claim to their liability insurance company. They started lying and said that they didn't do the damage. However, their liability insurance performed an investigation and admitted that Rocha Painters caused the damages, but that their insurance company's policies state that it doesn't cover the items that Rocha Painters destroyed. It is documented by their insurance company that they are responsible for $30,000 worth of damages to our house and their liability insurance will only cover about $4,000 of the damages (please see proof with letter written by their insurance company). We are furious as this has been going on since April of this year. In addition to this, when they were here painting, they failed to use drop cloths, and spayed black paint everywhere including our white marbled fireplaces and brand new subflooors. Please see photos. Moreover, their crew made themselves at home and used our microwave to heat up their lunches without even asking for our permission. They just walked up to our kitchen and each one plopped their lunches inside our microwave and began heating away. Do yourself a favor to avoid the headache-please reconsider the importance of your peace of mind and do not hire this untrustworthy company. They have no integrity and disrespects their customers' homes. Most importantly, they carry minimal insurance that will not cover the damages they make to your house.

But there were a few rooms we didn't get to during that Reno. I recently was able to finish those rooms and I knew that there was only 1 call to make in terms of who I wanted to work with - Rocha. As expected the job they did was exceptional and the rooms look beautiful. My home now feels complete and I have them to thank for it. Beyond just the job they did on the final paint, they were excellent consultants on finding the right color - letting me explore a few options to ensure I got exactly the right color. Unfortunately, the painter lead (David Polanco) and the rest were nice to speak with, but their job was rushed and sloppy. For example, they rushed a job a day it was supposed to rain, instead of postponing the job for a later date. Additionally, they didn't use brushes - they used a pressurized machine that spray-painted the house - and many of the home windows - which are now permanently stained. Finally, they left behind TONS of paint chips from scraping. Unfortunately, I personally can't recommend this business.
