* This is a re-post because for some reason, my original post can only be seen by me? * Lindo was referred to us by relatives who were impressed with the work his company did on their neighbors' homes and hired Lindo's company to do a variety of projects in their home. When we met and work with Lindo and his staff, we understood the reasons for the rave reviews! Lindo is patient, honest, listens to your questions/concerns and just wonderful to work with. We have a home that is more than 100 years old with many old horse-hair plaster walls with cracks, bulges and pilling paints. Some walls and window trims had water stains from ice dams damage from the previous winter. Majority of the areas in our home is in need of a new paint job (they were last painted nearly 13 years ago), but this time, we also wanted to repair/eliminate as much of the imperfections as possible. We contacted Lindo and he did a walk through of our house and provided his recommendations. He took notes and then provided room-by-room breakdown of cost to skim coat, paint walls only, paint trims only, combinations or the full work. We truly appreciated this detail breakdown because it enabled us to pick and choose what we would like done for each area. The first project they completed was our main entry hall leading up to and including our second floor hallway. The work involved applying a skim coat of plaster compound over mesh (in some areas, they installed screws to reinforce the walls), smooth sanding and detail preps. Lindo's crews were pleasant, trustworthy, respectful, diligent, very clean (everything neatly put away at the end of each day)! They painted walls, ceilings, cast iron radiators, 2 large windows and 14 doors!! Our hallways now look elegant and beautiful!! The walls look so good - like in a new home! They are now working on our fence, which includes power washing, repairs and painting. They will soon be working on our front doors. The storm door has thick layers of cracked old paint which Lindo's crew plan to strip down to the natural wood, prep and then paint. Given the fantastic result of our entry hall, we are certain these projects will also be done very well. We have additional projects that we plan to have Lindo's company do. Over the past two and a half years, Lindoberto Dos Reis' company, Supreme Painters, has done numerous painting jobs for us. We first contracted Lindo to do the exterior of our house in 2013; he and his crew did an excellent job, and at a very reasonable price. A few months later we contacted him again to do extensive interior painting. We have been very pleased with all of the work, and we consider ourselves pretty fussy customers! Lindo himself is an exceptionally talented painter and he has coached his crew well. The prep work his team does is the key to the excellent results. We have a 100+ year old house with many old horse-hair plaster walls in imperfect condition with cracks and bulges; these walls had previously required that they be wallpapered with patterned paper to hide the imperfections. Lindo's approach in these areas was to apply a skim coat of plaster compound over mesh, followed by meticulous sanding; the result was better than we ever imagined could have been achieved: perfectly smoothed walls that looked like new and were smooth enough to be painted. In some areas this work also required tie-ing in loose plaster before proceeding with prep. Lindo stands by all his work, and not just in the short term. Our front door, which stands behind a storm door in full sun exposure, blistered slightly in a couple of spots a year after it had been painted. Without hesitation, Lindo's crew returned to scrape, sand and repaint the door. At times Lindo went above and beyond the scope of the job. We had an ornate molded plaster wall decoration that had previously been broken - almost shattered. Lindo very successfully took on the challenge of repairing this - painstakingly restoring it so that it perfectly matched its pair mounted beside our mantel. Lindo's work in our living room was also truly exceptional; his technique in using a compressor to paint the wood trim achieved a furniture-quality finish. Lindo and his crew are honest and very hardworking. They consistently tidied up the worksite at the end of each day. We were comfortable trusting them all, whether or not we were here. Beyond happy with Supreme Painters! They are amazing. They are not only painters but handymen. The prior owners of our house removed a back wall and installed a 12-foot slider. We get a lot of wind near the ocean and the wall actually moves. We have had guests feel unsafe in the room as the wall movement was very visible. We had the contractor who originally installed the slider for the prior owners come look at it and he said all was fine. We didn't believe him, so we had Supreme Painters remove the wall around the slider and Supreme Painters discovered the prior contractor didn't install a proper header board, did not install proper wood on side of slider, nor did they use screws (used nails, that pull out with wall movement). Supreme Painters to our rescue and they fixed the slider and wall to code. Now it is VERY sturdy. Plus, they do a great job prepping a room for paint, excellent paint job, and they cleaned up. They also provided photos throughout the entire project as we were not home. I HIGHLY recommend Supreme Painters for all your home needs. Not just paint. There are not enough good things to say about Lindo and his crew. First of all, they are incredibly prompt and professional. Secondly, they have perfected the craft of painting. Lastly, they are clean and never leave their job site a mess at the end of the day! The last one has been a game changer for us as we are currently living in our home as we renovate it. Throughout our renovation we have become far too familiar with messy contractors and were thrilled when we found that Lindo's guys always left their work area clean. I also appreciate that they will always carry a job out to completion. For example, if they are painting a door and need to remove the lock/doorknob, they will always replace it at the end of the day if they are able to do so. They never complain and always come ready and willing to do the work they have been hired to do. Lastly, Lindo has connections throughout the local contractor/painting community and will readily offer up the name and number of another professional if needed. After being quoted by a few contractors back in 2011 to paint the exterior of my house, I took a chance on Lindo and his crew because his price came in at the lowest. I COULD NOT HAVE MADE THE BEST DECISION! Lindo did such a wonderful job on the exterior of my home, I hired him to do some extensive painting on the interior. I also had him gut and remodel my entire kitchen, which to this day, I receive great compliments on. Last year was a very snowy winter and I had some damage to my kitchen ceiling because of the ice dams. I called Lindo in and he made my ceiling look brand new again. Lindo and his crew are masters at skim coating, painting, carpentry work, you name it, he does it! I call Lindo for every project that I need done around the house. They've actually started work on my front stairs today. I now have family members and co-workers who have hired Lindo and his crew to take care of their needs. Supreme Painters are just great! Lindo, the owner is responsible, responsive, and wonderful. I have used Lindo for numerous paint jobs and could not recommend his work more. When looking for a quote Lindo is easy to set time up with and he follows up quickly with the quote, which is always reasonable. Scheduling time for the work to begin is also very easy and a pleasure to set up. Lindo and his team always complete the work on time, I have yet to encounter a delay, which is rare! The crew he works with take care of everything from covering all furniture, cleaning up between shifts, putting furniture back when they are done, and really leaving the space cleaner then when they arrived. The small business that I work for needed to give our office a facelift. We found Supreme Painters online and heard amazing things. As a person who has painted rooms with unconventional walls before (think college dorm room cinderblock walls), I understand how difficult it is to make textured walls look good. We have brick, plaster, corkboard, and whiteboards to contend with. To say that I was skeptical is putting it mildly. We left for the weekend and on Monday morning came back to a whole new office. These Guys are legitimately some of the best contractors I have ever hired. First off they gave a very competitive bid based on several others they were very well priced. Supreme painters is undoubtedly in their nature and easily worked around several other contractors scheduling to ensure the paint work was done perfectly. They put the final touch on our 1930s facelift and we couldn't be happier. We couldn't have been more satisfied with the work Lindo and his crew performed with multiple tasks around and inside our Victorian home in Newton. He was very clear about the initial contract and work list, made alterations as we requested them, scrupulously attended to details, and returned several times to make sure everything was satisfactory. I've found Supreme Painters on Yelp with good reviews and called Lindo. He came out at the time convenient for me, checked the place, made his professional recommendations and provided the estimate next day. While discussing the paint job I mentioned that I also needed to remove a closet wall in one of the rooms and fix the hardwood floor. Lindo said that his crew can do it all, and they did everything I asked and the quality was very good. I am very happy with the work, and it was pleasure to deal with Lindo and his crew. I was looking for a landscaper/gardener to take care of our garden and lawn. I saw David working in a garden across the street from my friends' place and asked for a business card - he seemed to be a meticulous and knowledgeable person. Lindo gave me an estimate that looked very reasonable, and the next day David was working in our garden. He did a great job weeding, pruning, cleaning and mulching. I have used Supreme Painters for a number of jobs and now and they have always been very professional and provided quality work. I had an interior job done a few years ago and they were able to do the entire job the week I needed and finished in the time I needed them to be done by. I had the outside painted recently and they went above and beyond painting things that we hadn't even thought about - like the ramp to the shed and the hose reel. The owner is very good and gave me tips on what to do and what needs to be fixed and what can be done later. We started after a week and i am really impressed on how Suprme Painters work. They did a great job with remodeling a bathroom, re-painting the entire condo, fixing and re-painting the porches, and in a great time.
