There are seasonal items like graduation gifts, Mother's/Father's Day presents, and even Christmas ornaments that are perfect souvenirs to remind you of beautiful Glen Arbor in all its summertime glory when you're putting up your Christmas tree in December. The employee working seemed overly suspicious and would constantly hover nearby and stomp around whenever we were looking at items, making it feel like she thought customers were going to steal something. If a store sells toys, fidgets, and jewelry that naturally attract kids and curious shoppers, customers should be able to look at them without feeling watched or judged. Instead of feeling welcomed, I felt uncomfortable and rushed while browsing. I saw her doing the same thing to other customers. I love apple cider donuts, but Wisconsin is known for its cherries. I was not a fan of the cherry donut sample I tried. I did end up getting some coffee, jelly, and dried cherries to take home. They have lots of home decor items and cherry donuts that are deep-fried into chips, which I did not try. You can also get a cup of coffee, and they have lots of pie and baked goods. Hot tip on getting in: send one person to check in at the front desk as early as you can in the morning to get your group added to the list because it's usually an hour to two hour wait for breakfast/brunch. While you're waiting, enjoy the Swedish delights in the gift shop, the enormous green lawn space and seating, walk around Sister Bay and of course admire the goats on the roof! Once you are in, enjoy the food, I'm never disappointed. Personally, I have to order the Swedish meatballs and Swedish pancakes combo every time to get a little bit of sweet and a little bit of savory and a full plate of delicious. I think it might be a little easier to get in for dinner and they have a great outdoor space for drinks, bites, and live music in the evenings! This is really a Sister Bay and Door County MUST stop.
