Furthermore, an inspector was to come clean the mold today at ten am. I am disabled and was trying to get out of the bed when he walked away. And showed understanding through the time we were with them. Even when high stress kicked in. When maintenance was needed they were on top of it getting things taken care of quickly. No children or pets were in my apartment. The cleaning bill was for 30 hours of cleaning! It was a small apartment, that was falling apart when I moved in. There is no way it would have been that much. I am incredibly disappointed and frustrated with their lack of professionalism.

A phone call would usually clear it it up as an oversight or mistake and it would be corrected. This happened enough times to cause suspicion about all repairs listed on our statements. We found that as legitimate repairs were needed, and HDR was left to their own devices the bill would be at least twice rate that we found on our own. Positive cash flow was lost to expensive repairs. Our agreement to have us approve anything greater than $250 was often ignored. They did not want us recommending contractors or service providers that were more reasonable because 'we can't make a profit that way.' In fact they suggested we part ways as a result.

Don't rent here! Eddie was our property manager and he is a slumlord. He'll be nice to your face…read moreand then email you with blame. I could never get a straight answer out of him and thankfully I kept all my emails and texts with him to call him out when he contradicted himself. He actually argued with me in my kitchen when my fridge was breaking and wouldn't replace it until it completely stopped working. We had add roach infestation and Eddie was nice to talk to but acted like it was an inconvenience to give us 24 hour notice about the sprays. My partner and I ended up having to move because after I asked Eddie about lease renewal (we couldn't really afford to move with how much they jacked the rent each year) to find out they were remodeling the home and we could live there during the remodel if we paid month to month. A month later Eddie tells me we owe for all of the roach sprays because he decided it was our fault. Today is the first day I'm hearing of this. Don't rent here and if you do, save every email and text message!
