Let me tell you a little something about Red Inc salon and Color Workshop. First of all, this is a joke. Salon? It's nothing. I walked in there expecting to get my hair colored and start transitioning from brunette to blonde. Now, I've been coloring my hair since I was very young. I may not be a hairstylist and I may not know everything there is to know about coloring but I am very well aware that it takes some time to transition from brunette, or any dark colors for that matter, to blonde. I'm not stupid when it comes to this. So when I walked into the salon on the second of May I was expecting to start going blonder. I was expecting to see a little bit more of a drastic change than what I received. However after 4 hours of sitting in a chair I walked away with only what looked like a few highlights and no real changes to my hair color. The only significant difference that people could tell was that it had been curled. And that was after the fact that she had done it. Not to mention that this whole process cost me well over $300. I found that to be so ridiculous and out of the price range for what I paid for. After I contacted Lisa, the owner, letting her know that although I did love what she had done to my hair it was not what I was expecting and it was definitely not what I was expecting for the price, I was met with rude and passive aggressive remarks. At one point I was told to "stop badgering her because it was ruining her mood". As a client who was unhappy with her service, and to this day still is, I was shocked and a little bit hurt to say the least that I was met with something like this. I had posted a review on Google as well as one on Yelp a day after the event that occurred and only a day after the reviews had been posted I had been contacted by Lisa once more. She told me that she would "re-highlight my hair" (even though this was not what I asked for in the first place at all) if I would take down my "horrible reviews". I politely declined her offer as that was not what I wanted and at this point I simply wanted my money back. After arguing for an hour or so Lisa eventually agreed to give me my money back in full. So I took down the reviews, had anyone else who put up reviews take them down as well, and waited. After a day of hearing nothing back I let her know that all the reviews were taken down. Another day past and still nothing. I contacted her for at least 4 days in a row, called the salon, and even called her personal cell. Nothing. I was met with dead silence. I am beyond frustrated and at this point. Furious. Not only was I given a service I was not at all happy with, I was also promised a reimbursement that never came. I was met with passive aggressive remarks, rudeness, and long periods of silence. This is not a salon or even a business I would ever go to and if you want your hair done right please do not go here. I have been going to Red Inc. for close to 12 years now from the time Lisa opened up in Cumberland and I have followed her to her new locations when she has moved. Lisa and her staff aren't just some "hairdressers". I stay with her because she genuinely cares about her clients and how they look when they leave, but more importantly how they feel. Your hair is her reputation when you leave, and I have never left unhappy. She always asks you during the process if you like something, is it what you want, and at the end she always asks, "is there anything we didn't do that you want me to fix" while showing you your hair in the mirror. Her business depends on your happiness and your referrals. I was just there yesterday to get my hair done and I again, walk away feeling like a million bucks! I will never leave Red Inc. They are MASTERS at what they do. So extremely knowledgeable - and are always taking new classes to stay current. Hair styling isn't "beauty school". Hair is chemistry - and Lisa and her girls at the salon are amazing at what they do! read more

I have been a customer of Lisa's for more than 20 years. Her commitment to the love of her profession deserves respect. Lisa is educated in her field and mentors other stylist just entering the profession. Lisa is a master in what she does. It is no surprise that many of her customers trust her judgement ,along with being regular customers for years. For more than twenty years I come and sit and Lisa does her magic. In addition to working endless hours and spending personal time learning the latest techniques, she is also community minded as well. She cares about her neighbors. Lisa is a small business success. You could not ask for better service! The knowledge of the staff is incredible. They take the time to talk to you about what you want done and if it is the right thing to do. Great salon! These last 10 years, I can't thank Lisa enough for all she does! I had been hesitant in the past to try a new salon because of my sensitive scalp, but Lisa is always attentive in making me comfortable when getting my hair colored. Whenever, I can't get an appt with Lisa that is good for my schedule, Stacy is awesome too! So glad I found Red Inc Salon. My hair is a challenge to tame, however, Stacy makes it look so easy.
