Vildan is so talented with hair, permanent makeup, Brazilian Blowout, you name it she's mastered it and stands by her work. So excited I decided to get my hair cut and highlighted after going a whole year without. I walked in and was given warm welcome by Deniz and her staff. They even brought me a much needed coffee! Although I've been coming here for 15+ years and I always request a similar cut and a full foil highlight, Deniz always takes time to discuss and listen to what I would like to have done with my hair. I'm also somewhat neurotic when it comes to keeping my hair's length and she is sensitive to this, always cutting off just enough to get rid of split ends, and never a centimeter more, while shaping my my hair perfectly. Lastly, they carry all of my favorite hair products and her staff always help me pick out products that meets my hair's needs. So, I promise myself I will not neglect getting a hair cut and highlight for a year because life gets busy... because the feeling I have after leaving Salon Deniz is just so awesome! I had this salon do my makeup for my wedding and the trial was fine. Some fine tuning for the day of. Leading up to the day we were in communication. I made her aware of the time I needed her for and booked her for. She later told be she would have to end by 12 as she had set up other clients for the afternoon. Mind you I was getting my make up done scheduled for 12:00. She made it feel she had to go out of her way to cancel her afternoon appointments which I found very rude and inconsiderate knowing a wedding takes some time and the timeline already was know. The day of she did not use the same colors as my trial. It was not what I asked for and the picture I showed. I wanted a little of the smoky look and it was no where near what I asked for. I had to put in my own eye tape to get the style I was asking for. Even then the girl couldn't get it right. The fake eyelashes weren't glued all the way down. This I noticed well after in pictures when the inner edge was sticking up. Girl didn't have any sparkly eyeshadow. I wanted a little of a silver shimmer and she didn't have that. She didn't even have lipstick! She used eyeliner as lip stick. Came off instantly after taking a few sips of a drink and it didn't even last for my ceremony! Salon Deniz is awesome!! I'm a poor planner but they always work with me to fit me in... I have had my hair done by almost everyone in there (again, because I'm a last minute type of gal)... doesn't matter who it is, they always do a great job. But more than that, they are friendly and welcoming. You can always jump into lively conversation or just sit back and enjoy the atmosphere and the salon experience!! The owner called me to make an appeal to take down my review. I listened politely until I realized it was only about her professional gain and not at all about my personal experience. Had she met me half way with some compensation things would be different. She couldn't give me $30 back for a haircut I was told would be covered with a nift card I had. I paid 50$ to them And I wish that I had just walked out and not paid. Horrible customer service, horrible communication after I called twice to make sure this Nift was transferable from a 100$ off of a Brazillean Blowout to compensate one haircut. I have downgraded my review due to the passive aggressive, unprofessional response. I post honest reviews, photos don't lie. I was not impressed at all by this salon. Not only was my hair so badly fried at the ends that I had to have it chopped off but she was very rough & careless with my head & hair. I was also charged an outrageous amount of money for a hair style that she had no idea how to do. I love Salon Deniz! Deniz is an amazing stylist. She knows how to cut and style curly hair because she has very curly hair herself. She is attentive, polite, professional, courteous and friendly. The outside of the salon is quite deceiving. It looks pretty small on the outside but when you go in, it's quite big! The decor is beautiful. All of the girls in the salon are friendly.
