Very friendly front desk staff, breakfast staff also friendly. Clean, comfortable rooms. Breakfast had a good variety of items both hot and cold. Housekeeping could use some attention. Not all towels or garbage was taken care of and when the bed was made (not changed) housekeeping didn't bother to move the pillows. They just left them where they were. Details are important. I also had to ask for the bed linens to be changed after a week during my two week stay. read more

Nice and clean hotel with great views of Flathead Lake. *Things we liked: Friendly staff, close to the Lake and all the places we wanted to visit in town. Tasty and free breakfast everyday, ample parking. *Things we loved: Krista at the Front Desk was super helpful and very professional and personable. *Things they could work on: It's a suite with a kitchen and a stove top. Yet, there were no pots/pans, plates, utensils, cups, glasses, salt/pepper, or paper towels. That made no sense to me. Better to remove the stove top and sink. They served no purpose and I think most visitors won't go buy pots and pans. *Bottomline: This is a great value in a great property. We will stay here again. read more

Great place to stay on Flathead Lake. Reasonable pricing, clean, and modern. Very friendly staff. Rooms are nice sized and the beds are really comfortable. You can bring your fur friend as well. Ample parking, well lit at night if arriving after dark. View rooms of the lake. Conveniently located on Highway 93 in Polson. Near shopping, restaurants, and easy access to both the east and west shore of the lake. Laundry facilities, suite shop, and continental breakfast with a a cozy lobby. Full disclosure, I'm a big fan of good value businesses and Red Lion Inn is one of them. Everything looks newly installed and very clean- lobby, rooms, elevators, breakfast area. Staff was very friendly. Rooms hit all the important points. Comfortable plush beds with clean white linens and many pillows. The room could be made just as I like it: pitch black, silent, and cool with a very quiet air conditioner. And they excelled with their breakfast offerings. The chorizo hash and pepper and cheese omelets were absolutely delicious, something you never see at these buffet offering. Good job, Red Lion! I would 100% come back. read more

This was probably the best hotel(inn) along our way to Glacier Park. My husband and I decided to take a road trip from New York to Montana. It was a long drive. And along the way, we stayed at many hotels. But this was so far one of the best. when we arrived we were greeted really nicely. We were given a room that was facing the street so we requested a room that faced the lake. And since it was not ready they asked us to wait. they took our luggage. We went to eat and when we came back it was ready. It was beautiful. And breakfast every day was delicious. We would drive to glacier park and come back tired to a very clean room. I'm not making wild statements. This is the best hotel on the south side of the lake. Very new, spacious, clean and comfy comfy beds. The walls are thick too because it's way quiet. The view from the pool and the back deck of the hotel is the best. Lake and mountains. Can't beat it. read more

the hotel itself is clean and staff is very friendly. However, we stayed in the kitchenette king suite and it wasnt equipped with anything?? no pan for the stove plates or utensils, nothing? Are we supposed to bring our own cookware to use the stove? In addition the double sofa bed didn't have any blankets for extra pillows in the room. there was a kind gentleman who brought that to the room after I called guest services. the air conditioner was so loud and every time it powered down it squealed which wonky me up several times throughout the night and I wasn't even in the same room as the AC. The breakfast was not great, the eggs were cold, I expected a lot more for the price. The only reason it got a two star is because the king bed was comfortable. My advice, keep driving and find a better bang for your buck. read more

I have stayed here many times on trips visiting family. There are a couple minor things I think they should work on. 1) Keep a closer eye on the breakfast. I am shocked how many people are there with no shoes on and kids with hands all over the food 2) Keeping the cardio room stocked with water and towels. The beds are comfy, showers are nice and front desk people are friendly. I would recommend staying on the 3rd floor so you don't have to hear people walking on your head. read more

This was a horrible experience from the start! First, our hotel room was supposed to be 111$ but when we checked in they added extra charges until it came out to be 150$!! Next, when we went to go to the pool we had noticed there was no restrictions, (even though we're in the middle of a global pandemic) there was about 20 people in the pool and they stayed in there all night! Which meant we could not hot tub or swim at all. I'd suggest they do time slots like the other hotels I've been too have done. Lastly, when we got our breakfast it was absolutely disgusting. The sausage in all our sandwiches looked and tasted like rubber, which was quite a disappointment! read more

Very clean and spacious rooms. You can tell the building is newer and is well taken care of. They are currently not serving breakfast in the traditional sense, you have to order the night before and pick up at the front desk in order to allow for their Covid safety protocols. I was a little hesitant to stay here as it seems the hotel chain itself has mixed reviews but I was very happy with our stay in Polson! read more

We had to find a place spur of the moment in Polson and lucked into this hotel. Super clean, super friendly front desk staff. We actually extended our stay an extra night. I didn't try the breakfast but the pool was great and the views are actually lovely from the patio near the deck. This is the only place I'll stay if I return to Polson! read more

We stayed in room 118, our bed was amazing. Soooo comfortable. We usually stay here when we visit family however this is the first time on a king bed here at this location. The front desk was always extremely nice and attentive. The only thing I could ask for was more banana's at breakfast because they go fast! read more

This is literally the dirtiest hotel I have ever been to, especially during COVID 19. Started off in one room paying extra for a view that had no view. Also was dispointed in the crumbs on the floor and chairs. So when we asked for a different room it was 10 times worse. The room had crumbs and food wrappers scattered all over the floor. And my favorite a dirty old sock next to the bed in plain view. I touched the remote which had black tar all over it and then got all over my baby. My fiance thought about cleaning it. But then I started pointing out the crumbs all over the mini fridge and bathroom floor, and then the chocolate finger prints and grime on the door handle and mirror next to the door. So he went to ask for another room. We waited a half hour and before that point I was ready to leave roach motel. So my fiance asked for rightfully a discount on this all this crap we went through. Not for free. But a percentage off. So the manager made a statement that he was rushed to have the second room cleaned and rushed to clean another room for us and felt like we were "extorting him." But here's the thing I noticed there was grime and crumbs all over the main lobby and he supposedly rushed the second time how do I know its very clean or they're not trying to hustle us and hurry us to a room so as not to be embarrassed. And this is DURING COVID 19 TIMES fyi. So I finally jumped in and said to the manger very politely even though he was rude and snarky to my fiance the whole time even though my fiance was polite and told him about the first and second room and "how I felt that I really wasn't sure if the third room would be clean based off what he said and having to rush." I also said, "that I used to work when I was younger as a housekeeper and would have been fired for leaving a room like that and this is way before covid at a cheap motel. He said, "well sorry but those were different times." And right there I knew him and the whole staff was sorry and not to waist my time or money there. Fyi when we pointed out the larger trash and sock to the cleaning lady she was quick to grab those up before I could take pictures or her manager saw. And I'm not for sure but one of the bedding looked like it had a dried booger on it before we left the room. It was nasty- no lie. And professionalism from the manger was laughable. read more

This is a really nice place to stay, rooms are great and the breakfast is good. My problem is that we were quoted 126 a night we stayed two nights and they charged us 126 for first night then 145 the second night. Lady at desk said that she would have to talk to supervisor about the price and call us back. She also said we got a deal at 145 because usually weekends are 200. Never did get a call back. Probably won't t stay there again since you can't trust a room quote. read more

We stay here whenever we come to Polson. Clean, modern, great beds and a nice breakfast. Staff is always friendly as well.

This hotel is new and it is very clean. The continental breakfast is great and so is the service at breakfast, the lady (Judy) that serves it is a real genuine person and made mornings enjoyable. McKenzie pizza is in the building connected to the hotel and it has great pizza. The only downside to this hotel is that it allows dogs, while I am a dog lover and have my own, when they vacuum the rooms it leaves an overwhelming dog smell behind. Other than this we enjoyed out stay here. read more
