If your animals needs care that is expensive - like almost anything there is - they refuse to offer their own payment plan. You either have Care Credit or you pay their horrendous prices in full. They are compartmentalized: thanks to the surgeon's lack of knowledge, my dog died unnecessarily, long tragic story short. Their wall signs should say " we care a lot...about our bottom line profit margins."

The head vet, Linda, really tries to build a welcoming atmosphere, is extremely personable, and amazing with animals. She really tries to explain what is going on with your pet and will work with you to ensure you are getting the care you want for your furry friends. She has trained at Cornell and has a great working relationship with them, so I really feel like I'm getting great care for an affordable price. Because of that relationship, some of the lab work gets sent to Cornell and she also is not afraid to send serious cases to them. The rest of the staff is also awesome, from the front desk to the lab techs -- I feel they really care about your experience. They also have a boarding facility, which I have used -- I would recommend it. The staff is, again, really amazing and they get to know your pets so well. If you are booking for around the holiday, I would make sure you book early!

A few days later he only got worse and when I took them back for their first round of shots I got scolded for exposing him to albuterol to help him breathe. I saw a different vet the first time and I much prefer Dr. Blaha, not that I did not enjoy the other lady but I have a preference. The rooms are a bit small but Dr. Blaha is extremely knowledgeable on her medicine and animals. She even gave us a script to get meds elsewhere knowing it was cheaper. It is a little 'old school' with the paper forms and billing but it is a nice facility and they have deals for new pet owners, which I like. The front desk employees were friendly. My only issue is that I don't get a line by line bill on the services and the receipt stapled, I'm not sure if this is me being picky but I think that they do a very good job here.
