When I honked and threw my arm up (like any person thinking "wtf" would), he decided it would be funny to mock me and flip me off. He then proceeded to do 20 in an 40. Apparently these drivers don't seem to remember that they represent a brand, and that their actions do matter. I hope that whoever the "manager" is (that doesn't seem to exist across many reviews) takes action, and that their employees receive consequences for their actions.

Christopher responded right away and was polite and organized and was able to pick me up at 3am the next day (9 hours after I contacted him) and shuttle me to SYR. He was prompt, drive quite well, and arrived with a clean car. I want to thank Christopher to kick off my day on time to help me finally get back home. Oh and there were several texts to me to confirm the pick up, to pay the fare, remind me, and also one 15 minutes before he arrived. Nice touch.

We got a quote and invoice within 15 minutes. 4am on the day of our flight they were at our house not just on time but early! Friendly, courteous safe driver. I've had horrible experiences with both Collegetown Cab and Cayuga dispatch. Four times (FOUR!) I've called Cayuga dispatch to take me to the airport--sometimes calling ten hours in advance--and they've either never shown up or shown up EXTREMELY late. If I hadn't hopped into another passing cab, I would have missed my flight every single time I relied on them. Horrible. Collegetown Cab, while better, has never picked up their phone for me when I called. And I've tried many times. Getting a cab with ASAP is so easy. The dispatcher is polite and friendly and never gets my info wrong. The cabs are always 5 minutes early, waiting in the right spot, and the drivers are pleasant. For this, I gladly say that they've earned my loyalty when I need a cab. They are also slightly cheaper than the other cab companies and will give you slack on luggage fees. I do knock off one star because their taxis are in disrepair. They're beat-up old vans with dented fenders and doors that stick and are hard to open. The insides are clean but they're just really old, clunky cars. Once, the engine even stalled a few times before starting, which made me nervous. But other than that, they are definitely the best cab company in Ithaca. Thank you ASAP for being a godsend.
