Thomas Farms-Bed & Breakfast one of the best we have ever stayed at during our trips. I would highly recommend staying at Thomas Farms. The place was immaculate, and the breakfasts were totally gourmet (Nancy made everything from scratch) and so delicious! Homemade yogurt, fresh fruit, breakfast salad, homemade bread, fresh cider, lemon ricotta pancakes and very creative egg dishes. Simply wonderful! Nancy and Rich, our hosts were very attentive to our needs during our entire stay, and we will return again on our next trip to the area. Great place to hike, see wildlife and enjoy the lovely gardens of flowers. Saw a beautiful red fox on our drive in one evening. And the birds are plentiful! Could give this wonderful inn 10 stars if I could. Rich and Nancy are great cooks, kind, funny and love children. We traveled with our two and for year olds. They brought out toys for them which kept them happy and busy playing! They had a booster seat for little Jacob and gave the the most adorable breakfast - including fruit cup up in the shape of a dolphin and strawberry fish with chocolate chips. We had a wonderful stay with Nancy and Rich in their beautiful 1800s farm house. So comfortable with exceptional hospitality and a delicious breakfast fit for any gourmet. They bent over backwards to meet our requests and made us feel like we were their only guests when they were full with plenty of others. Having breakfast on the porch overlooking the lush garden and the morning activity at the busy bird feeder was truly a delight. We will certainly be back. read more

This bed and breakfast exceeded my expectations! The best one I've ever stayed at! A lovely and very comfortable stay. The owners, Nancy and Rich, are wonderful! So nice and sweet that talking to them feels like you're visiting old friends. They provided us with recommendations and tips for the area. They even lent us chairs, umbrellas and coats! The entire house, and bedroom, were sparkling clean. All Covid precautions and recommendations were taken. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Lovely house. Very nice sitting area in the room as well as on the porch. The breakfast varied each day and was very tasty with healthy items included, which we appreciated. We received a two night stay as a gift. Our stay was wonderful. Hosts, Nancy and Rich, made us feel welcome without being overbearing right from the start. Excellent service, outstanding attention to detail and delicious, healthy, gourmet breakfast. Very close to Cornell, State Parks, waterfalls Cayuga Lake and downtown Ithaca. One of the most charming bed and breakfasts we've stayed. I wish we were there for longer to take more advantage of the property. The bedroom was breezy and cozy at the same time. I loved the old-world touches like the antique key and the sloping in-the-eaves bathroom. Modern touches like a whirlpool bath gave it a nice updated feel. The proprietors were lovely and accommodating and it really felt like being a guest in someone's home. The warm, homey breakfast played no small part in that. The Thomas Farm B and B is one of the best the best B and B's we've ever stayed in (grammar?). Nancy and Rich are so genuinely friendly and filled with facts about the farm and the area. Foods were so plentiful, sadly I couldn't sample everything offered. Details are wonderful. Every space in every room was a step back in time. I felt as though 200 years had slipped by. Nancy and Rich are in just the right place for them. Unfortunately we were on our way the next day after a long breakfast with ten others, who also seemed smitten with the Thomas Farm aura. Quintessential Old World B&B. Wonderful hosts was the icing on the 'French Toast'. Being from the Land of Coastal Elite living, our visit was refreshing. My husband and I had an excellent stay at the end of July 2019. We stayed for two nights and would absolutely stay here again. We were warmly greeted and shown around the house even though we checked in pretty late and Nancy and Rich were in the middle of their dinner! We stayed in the Edith Thomas Parlor on the first floor. It had a large sitting/bedroom area with fireplace, a small kitchen, a private bathroom, and even a back entrance to the backyard patio. There were really nice small touches in the room, like lavender eye pillows that you could purchase if you liked. Breakfast was served around a large dining table where all the guests could gather. Nancy cooked a delicious breakfast every morning (and was even very aware and accommodating with my food issues), while Rich served and struck up conversation with the guests. They were both very helpful with suggestions on what to do with our days, and had brochures and maps we could take along with us. This B&B is very cozy, charming, and quiet... all while being within 15 minutes of downtown Ithaca and close by to loads of hiking, swimming, waterfalls, and wineries. We are looking forward to a reason to go back! read more

I stayed at Thomas Farm B & B for 3 nights, along with 2 other people. We made an extended trip around the Finger Lakes and then up into Canada. By far Thomas Farm was our favorite place to stay. This is a beautifully restored farm and farm house from the 1800's. Yet all of the comforts and conveniences of the current age are provided. The home is beautifully decorated yet comfortable. I slept better in the bed and bedding provided than I have in years. The gardens are beautiful. Birds and wildlife are abundant. We were given 2 types of refreshing ice tea and wonderful home made treats on our arrival. The breakfasts every morning were delicious and nourishing and included along with various proteins, fruits, vegetables, and herbs from the farm garden. The coffee was roasted by a neighbor. Home made granola and local maple syrup are just few of the treats provided. We were given information on the local area, and our hosts were even kind enough to lend us their personal property. Nancy are Rich are the perfect hosts. They seem to love what they do and treated us like family. They are interested if you would like conversation, but they were never intrusive.The location is convenient. I would say about a 10-15 minute drive to Downtown Ithaca, Cornell, and several of the beautiful NYS parks. I am already thinking of a trip back and now would not even consider staying anywhere else. read more
