I have to say, they turned me around from a 1 to a 4. Before we're done, I might even upgrade them to a 5... ;-) My initial month was frustrating but they sincerely reached out to turn my experience around and I genuinely appreciate all their efforts. I have lost 23 pounds in let's say two months. I do think the combination of pills and shots put a damper on your impulses, stifling your cravings and hunger just enough to give you time to proactively make smarter food choices in keeping with your long-term goals versus eating when perhaps you're reacting emotionally (even if only feeling entitled) thus sabotaging your efforts. The diet itself is simple and really forces you to re-acquaint yourself with realistic portion sizes. Half a chicken breast in the George Foreman tossed in a salad. I used to eat two chicken breasts. That right there is a 75% reduction. Daily. Wow. I wouldn't say it's been easy - but nor would I say it's been hard. It just is. It's a diet. But it's doable. First let me say everyone is very nice and friendly so encouraging. I have tried for years to lose weight menopausal weight gain like 60 lbs in 6 or 7 years I tried all the different ways to lose keto, low carb, low calorie, intermittent fasting, rigorous exercise that actually caused injury yes I lost about 10lbs but in 4 month or more and would plateau. So I would lose interest and go back the enjoying life overweight. A friend said she lost 50lbs there and I knew I wanted to try, I needed help advice and guidance I could seem to find the right diet for me. Well after my consultation we went with RM3 and the low calorie no fat plan I thought no way I could do it sounded to restrictive, but couple weeks I. I started to get my groove on foods and cooking. I feel satisfied not hungry some days I only consumed 700-800 calories but the food choice I made were all filling I've lost 30lbs in 3 months which may not sound lie to much but that took me 3 year to put on so 3 months to lose it feels great to me. Overall I know it is me doing all the work but they gave the the push and advise for what direction I needed plus if your like me when you spend the money you are going to be more dedicated I think. I have been waiting for 3 days for a return call. I have to call several times and still no follow up! Completely unacceptable!

The office is clean. Staff is courteous. As a healthy eater who exercises yet struggles with losing a belly, I chose RMWL for the medical component. When asked about the rebound statistics they could not answer. That should have been a clue (just listen to how often the radio personalities are returning). Blood is drawn up front, but they do not check for any metabolic issues which may be impacting one's long-term success. Medical visits are quick, focused on selling a supplement, not solutions. During the program the lack of exercise and proper dietary consumption caused so much joint pain I had to stop. Maintenance is 1000 calories. The human body needs more than that to sustain. The plan is NOT sustainable unless you keep buying their supplements and maintain an impractical caloric intake which is medically discouraged. This is just another weight loss gimmick. I have used this place to lose weight a couple of times. Let me tell you, it works! I lost 77 lbs. although I haven't kept it off, it took a great deal of not following the maintenance plan to put it back on. I've only gained 30 lbs back, but with the tools I used to get the weight off, it didn't come back on right away. I went through the holidays, vacations, birthdays, etc. that caused me to gain. If you follow the maintenance plan, you will not gain the weight back. It's worth every penny. I absolutely adore the staff. They are so friendly and supportive. Dr Timothy has never been judge-mental. He has always been supportive and understanding. He knows that life gets in the way sometimes. They are my go-to when I need to lose weight. read more

I am very disappointed in Red Mountain's lack of transparency, bordering on deceptive marketing. The La Cholla office is lovely and all staff is professional, friendly and supportive. I had my initial consultation and it was suggested that the semiglutide would be the most effective program for me. I was quoted a price that included initial labs, medication, a few other amenities and monthly medical monitoring. Red Mountain's semi-glutide program is called Revolex which is pill form, but the PA suggested the shots would ensure a more consistent effective absorption of the medication. At no time was I informed that if I chose the shots then the program completely changed to a " Dispensing Only" program, without any labs, medical monitoring etc. In other words, I would just get the medication! I only found this out when I called to make my first appointment and inquired about how labs would be done and was told they were not necessary with the shots, but I could get them independent of the program at my own cost. Then I confirmed that there would also not be monthly monitoring or any of the other advertised amenities with the shots, although if I wanted I could pay extra for these... this is quite deceptive and RM's "medical experts" become little more than drug dispensers! I try and be careful and thoughtful with my healthcare decisions and the medical monitoring and support that RM offered was an important component to my decision. I had a fabulous experience at the RM in the Oro Valley area. It's a lovely office, and the ladies at the front desk & medical assistants were always so so so very nice, supportive & encouraging. My medical provider was Timothy. Timothy is a serious guy, and I'm a goofy personality, yet we got along great and he was super informative, professional, encouraging and personable. I'm very grateful to this RM for helping me get my health back on track. This wasn't just about weight loss for me, it was about regaining self-respect and control of my life again after significant trauma, and RM helped me accomplish a very important aspect of that. I really like the initial office visit. From the front desk to the medical assistant to the provider to checking out was super easy and simple. I've been on numerous weight-loss plans and none of them have this customer service as this office does. I decided to try Red Mountain due to my age and the struggle I was having with my weight. The first consultation was fine. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. I was given the different options so I chose to go with the RM3. It was $599. Mine ended up costing $679 because I chose to have the Phentermine appetite suppressant as well. I did lose 11 pounds in my first month. It is challenging but did teach me a lot about what I was putting in my body. My issue is the transition month, the second step. You do get to add more calories and healthy fats and you can start working out again. They do recommend a package full of supplements that are supposed to assist with not regaining the weight. However, the package cost almost $300!!! If RM3 is supposed to be a weight loss "package", then why aren't these supplements included for the transition month?!?! Buyer beware of the "cost" of the weight loss plan. This is not just $599. You will get pulled into spending over $1000 if you are convinced that you need the supplements and the %off is a good deal. read more

This place is NOT all its hyped up to be!! First, it started off with me getting mis-quoted over the phone! I was told one thing & then of course it ended up being over $100 MORE than what I had planned on paying! Next, they say they adjust the plan to help U lose weight, well that's not true at all! The "so called nurse" I talked to, barely asked me any relevant questions as far as WHY i wanted to lose the weight or what I felt I needed. She just mainly agreed with whatever I said & then said oh yeah definitely the RM3 program will be the best one for u. Then, once I was on it, I voiced my opinion about how hard it was for me to go from an almost all carb diet to a NO carb diet & the girls working there had no suggestions whatsoever about what I can do to help myself! Wanted the B12 injections and called.. was told that I needed a eval consultation which was $50 and had to schedule a appt. I did so about a week out for the location at the La Cholla Tucson location I called a few days later as I had a follow on question. I was told that I didn't need the $50 consultation as it was only the B12 injections and did not want to enroll in the RM3 program. The phone representative cancelled the appt and told me to walk in. I arrived at my scheduled appt still as I had to take time off from work as their hours are normal duty hours. When I arrived I was told that I could not be seen as I did not have a scheduled consultation appt. I explained why my appt was cancelled but the front seat rep showed no sympathy. I asked when the next available appt was and was told a week away. Don't waste your time or money .. or at least don't go to the location at La Cholla in Tucson. I started last week and the program is pretty good but costly BUT if I can get to my goal weight by the end of the month (instead of 4 months on my own) I will be happy. I signed up for the RM3. The initial contact was friendly. The office is very nice and the staff very friendly. The diet plan is easy to follow but "difficult" as any diet is when you start. This was my first visit to RMWL center and it was for a consultation. I met with a very nice Nurse and had a consultation about Kybella. I am currently losing weight and she recommended I wait until some weight loss so I can get a better idea of how many treatments would be best for me. I appreciated her giving me an honest option and not pushing a treatment on me. I am going back to her in a couple of weeks to get my Botox done. They offer $9 a unit for your first Botox treatment there! The clinic offers many services and the staff is nice and professional. I will post another review after another visit!! read more

I didn't even purse getting my money back because I felt like a fool being lured into something like this. I chalked it up to a pricey lesson learned. I signed up , paid and went to one appointment and realized after showing my mom and husband the "program" that I had really let myself get swindled out of desperation to lose the post- baby weight. Called an asked about their products and services. I specifically said I was not interested in doing one of their plans - I already count my macros, I get blood work and body composition analysis for free, and I work out regularly. I also have no care for their fat loss shots because they contain inositol, which drives down testosterone, and I'm already on testosterone cream. They said they offer other products, like the appetite suppressants, which could be an option but I would have to meet with the provider. Understandable. So I book the appointment. I drive an hour and a half to the appointment. I speak with the provider and figure which product would be the best for me. Then I'm told "well that falls under our phase 1, and that's what you'd be doing." Phase 1 includes all the things I specifically said I did NOT want to do over the phone. Oh, and it's $174 + the medications costs. No. So I complained. Oh by the way, I had to wait 10 minutes in the lobby for the receptionist to even call me to check out. She refers me to the assistant manager who explains the $174 is essentially the fee to meet with the provider. It's the patient enrollment fee. So now I would be paying $174 for driving an hour and a half on a lie? She graciously waived the fee but how ridiculous. Will not return. Did not keep any of the brochures. read more

I've had the best experience with Red Mountain. I was able to loose 15 lbs in the first month on RM3. I really wish I could have stayed on the program but finances just won't allow it. The staff is always helpful and encouraging. They offer you water every visit and plenty of great ideas for recipes. They do tell you that you can have all the Walden Farms products. Don't go out and buy them all because they do not taste as good as you may want them to! The peanut butter is nasty! All the staff I've had interactions with have been kind and sweet. The doctors and NP are very helpful and encouraging. I've used the crave control pills and they are a God send! Help so much! The protein is amazing! You actually get a whole container full and not half like many companies sell! I tried all the flavors before buying the containers. Which is a great idea as some of them were not very tasty! I went on the HCG diet with the RM3 accelerating shots. I lost 35 pounds in two and a half months. Anyone would on 500 calories a day. You will lose weight but when you gain it back ...and you will ... You'll gain more weight than ever before. You can't sustain a starvation diet indefinitely without health consequences. The business model is that as soon as you start [eating] and gaining weight you will go back to their very high priced HCG diet to lose weight again, and keep spending money. Thus, keeping the cycle going. Personally, I think this is a little unethical. Tucson Medical Weight Loss appeals to your emotions to sell their product. They use ambiguity to deliver, not a customized plan as advertised, but decisively careful plan, as to not put themselves in any unnecessary fiduciary liability. They check your lab work to ensue there's no underlying health problems in administering your choice of diets (RM3 or regular HCG) but it's not the whole story. After some research, I found: calorie consumption in Western countries is from 30 to 35% lower than fifty years ago, paradoxically, obesity has risen by 400%. As we reduce the number of calories we consume, our bodies' survival instinct automatically makes the best use possible of the energy we put at its disposal. Our bodies learn to optimize the number of calories we feed them. Therefore, when we go back to normal calorie consumption, our bodies, simply stock these 'extra' calories turning them into extra weight. It's been studied at length. But the Nurse Practitioner who worked with me didn't mention that. If she, who is in this field, did her due diligence she would have discussed that despite the hefty cost, the result of the weight loss is guaranteed to be very temporary. I might have chosen differently. Weight gain and obesity is more complicated issue than a cookie cutter approach. This company is another example of a multi-billion dollar industry that's giving the average Joe a whole lot of nothing while they take your hard-earned money to the bank. read more

Yes, the diet is alittle restrictive but with the right frame of mind, balance of vitamins and creative meals, your body can easily handle. She was very understanding to my work schedule in the Army and talked to me about scheduling. She even answered my husbands questions about my diet. I wish there was one in Sierra Vista. The only thing is I get confused about the pricing. It would be nice to discuss pricing and options in the Dr. Office instead of the front desk. I went from $114 ish to $180. VERY EXPENSIVE SCAM. It makes me sick EVERY time I hear these ads on the radio (red flag, just like the $$attorneys ads...hmmm, all about the money perhaps?) WARNING: This is really where all YOUR $$ goes. It's merely a 'fancy diet-culture scam' that is really all about the $$ ... I am bummed that I fell for it three times. Sure, anyone is going to lose weight if they're eating next to nothing (also red flag/unhealthy.) My primary care physician said it is awful, with zero sustainability. I imagine they hear this feedback a fair amount. Paying $329 EACH month (at the VERY lowest) for THREE months is a huge investment of both time and money. Obviously, we all understand that that is "sold" as a valuable health investment, but with the company's inflexible cost model, it is definitely more about THEIR bottom line than about the patients' needs/customer care. Ask yourself why there are no prices on their website... no cost transparency (RED FLAG) because once they woo you with the fancy office, tons of shiny (WASTEFUL) pamphlets and folders, water bottles (more waste), and smiling young robots, they have you hooked. It's really just a super expensive, highly restrictive food plan. They convince you the magic (and mass expense) is in the HCG. It's not, google it. A $75 office visit is REQUIRED every 28 days just to get a refill which they "claim" is because they need to "medically supervise" you. Every time I made the effort and paid the $75 to come in for an office visit, I expected it to be of value and not like my last office visit of just retelling my SAME story (for the 6th time) and a simple weigh-in with blood pressure measurement (none of which was with an actual practitioner!!) Then Alice came in the room for all of maybe five minutes, punched a few keys on the laptop and that was it. Same same. 15 minutes max... that ALL takes YOUR time to schedule, drive, and wait... for $75!! When I asked the manager if there was any way to pick up the monthly PREscribed HCG refill (PREscribed by THEIR staff for a three-month treatment plan) without going through this process, she said no. RED FLAGS$$ Do yourself a favor and save the hundreds of dollars and choose WW or Noom or anything else that is actually sustainable. This is a SCAM. Sadly. read more

After finding out my cholesterol was over 300, my doctor prescribed Lipitor! This is a wonderful drug taken by many people with much success in lowering cholesterol. Within 3 months my cholesterol was under 150. I was so delighted, until the doctor told me that my liver was failing! Yes, I am one of the very, very few people who can not take statins to lower cholesterol! Within 3 more months without taking cholesterol medicine, the numbers were over 300 once more. Because my mother had open heart surgery and other significant health problems related to high cholesterol, I was determined to lower my cholesterol! For a year, I tried everything? I got the number down to 270! I knew I needed help lose at least 50 pounds! That is when a friend told me about Tucson Medical Weight Loss programs. I had just moved here from the east coast. With finally facing the fact that I certainly could not lower my cholesterol by myself, I made an appointment to learn about their weight loss programs! I remember when the nurse asked me what was my goal weight! I told her I didn't have one. I said that I wanted my cholesterol to be under 200! After 3 months and shedding 40 pounds, my cholesterol is in the normal range. Not only that but every single item checked on my blood work by my family physician is PERFECT! I have enjoyed every visit! Each and every person celebrated my weekly accomplishments! Without fail, they would inquire if I had a successful week .They answered every question regardless of how insignificant! I was treated with respect, dignity, and compassion with every phone call or visit. I taught high school mathematics for 41 years. Because of this, I have been around various people from all walks of life.....students, parents, administrators, service personnel, and other teachers!
