The speakeasy atmosphere is outstanding--walking through the iconic red phone booth feels like stepping into another era, only with much better bourbon. Victoria was an absolute rockstar. She took some fantastic photos of our group (which is no small feat after a couple of perfectly made Manhattans), anticipated everything we needed, and somehow managed to make us feel like regulars on our first visit. Speaking of Manhattans... they're exactly the way we like them: balanced, boozy, and dangerously easy to order "just one more." Pair that with a great cigar, comfortable seating, and an atmosphere that somehow feels both upscale and relaxed, and you've got one of the best spots in Miami to unwind. We came for a drink. We stayed for the cigars. We left wondering if we should install a red phone booth at home. This was truly an experience! When we got access inside, we were greeted by such a nice woman. She introduced herself and gave us information about the place. Showed us to the bar and got our seats wiped down. The kitchen wasn't serving hot food since we came after 10pm, so we opted for hummus which was soo good! Our drinks were great, and my bf got a cigar which was a great experience. The man who was in that area, was knowledgeable and helped him choose the right one. While in Miami this week we came across a great find. Red Phone Booth is a unique 1920's prohibition cocktail experience. There is no sign to know you're there, but the legit red phone booth is the giveaway. You have to know the phone number code to get in, but can get it from local concierge and bartenders. Once you dial the code into the rotary phone, the whole wall opens up and you're greeted by wonderful hosts dressed in 1920's garb. Whoever is behind this concept, they studied the era well. The cocktail program is focused on classic recipes from the Prohibition era like Sazerac, Old Fashioned and Boulevardier. They take authentic to another level with their ice. They hand chip the clearest, cleanest ice you've ever seen. They even have a mold in the shape of a diamond . They also have a huge cigar program. The walk-in humidor is impressive. I've never been in a cigar room where you could hardly see or smell any smoke. Their ventilation system must be on par with commercial airplane engines!! It is one of the most beautiful spaces I've seen in a long time. The service and cocktails were excellent and the bartenders enjoy engaging with patrons and sharing their craft. It was not a pretentious environment at all. The cocktails shown in the third pic are Naked and Famous and Black Manhattan.
