At the time, I had chosen a nation wide lender, I was familiar with, and they had given me a preapproval letter. Since we were moving from out of state to new Hampshire and even though we were not asking for a mortgage from Blue Water, Chad went out of his way to describe what we could expect at closing on a property in NH. During the search process, I sought Chad's advice several time and he gave it freely. Subsequently, the larger national bank mortgage fell through for technical reasons. We were informed of this only 1 week before closing and we had to scrape up the mortgage money by borrowing against the equity in our brokerage account. After closing, we went back to Blue Water for a cash out mortgage to repay our brokerage loan. I found that Blue Water both were very professional and kept us informed throughout the process. Chad and Ann worked with us and we closed in a very short time, saving us interest payments on the equity loan. We were able to close at a lower rate than we expected.
