The hunting was poor, we had a guide and the only time I saw an Elk was when I went off on my own. The Game unit is very crowded lots of other hunters. All the hunting is done on public land. There is lots of cattle on the land as well. Like I said nice people, the hunt just wasn't what I hoped it would be. I understand you are not always going to get an Elk, but I thought with a guide I would have at least seen more. We did a base camp hunt, drop camp might be different.

A vendor selling galoshes could have made a fortune. They had some straw to mitigate the mess, but not nearly enough. They could have used more attractions. I felt like we were done in a few hours.
