The ranger station has a really nice gift shop as well as informative things to see and read. They had a statue of Smoky the Bear, outfront.front as well. The parking was pretty full when we arrived "on a week day" so just be patient as this is a stop you'll definitely want to see. You can take awesome pictures right from the parking lot. When I was there, the moon was over a mountain, which made for beautiful picture.

The town has it all ~ restaurants, shopping, art galleries, etc. It's far less busy than uptown Sedona. Home to also some of the most amazing hiking trails such as ~ Bell Rock, Courthouse, Yavapai Point, Woods Canyon, just to name a few. Friendly reminder to get a daily, weekly or annual Red Rock Pass in order to park at all the trailheads if you're interested in exploring the trails. Passes can be purchased at nearly all the trailheads or at the rangers station.

But I will say that the customer service was excellent. Our wine expert was very knowledgable about the wines, the origins of these wineries, and so much more. He even shared a bit about how wine making got started in Arizona. And he was kind enough to add a fifth free taste of a port wine with a piece of chocolate (very nice of him). The space is small, and not well air-conditioned, but does offer a temporary break from the hot, arizona sun.
