We order from this location two times a month and the food is always very good! There has been mix ups and that happens, a few weeks ago the staff member I placed my order with thought I was picking up and the manager knew we always have delivery....so the manager drove our order to our door! Tonight 1 key item was not delivered...again the manager comes to the rescue....upsized the item and brought it to us. He's friendly and a pleasure to talk to!! Ended up walking around downtown Hamilton a little bit and was pretty disappointed to not really see many food options until we ended up running into Red Rockets! So initially I was pretty easily won over by the fact that they had breaded wings and that's really the only thing you need to win me over. The menu wasn't huge but a place like this doesn't need to have a huge menu. I ordered the lunch special which was just wings, fries, and a pop on the side. I can't complain about much as the food was pretty good, the place was very clean and neatly set up, and the food didn't take long to make. If you want wings, this is a good place to stop. The wings are breaded which is always a plus and they have about 10 different sauces for them to choose from. I went with a combo with included a half pound of wings, a side (fries or coleslaw) I went with fries, and a drink. It was fairly priced and the food was pretty good. The set up is you order at a counter then wait about 15 minutes, grab your food and eat it there or take it home. It seemed like a lot of people had ordered ahead and came to pick it up. We ate there. Very nice environment. I would recommend if you want wings fairly quick and don't want that sit down restaurant feel. read more

This is a "to-go" restaurant- there is some bar style seating if you want to dine in, but no actual tables, and there are sofas to wait on while you wait for your order. The combos are worth it, and the portions ARE HUGE. Legitimately huge. The wings are good, they're very saucy. read more

I was very surprised to find only one review for this place!! I ordered 1/2 pound of chicken wings and half rack rib! The chicken wings were amazingly crispy and saucy at the same time, the ribs were perfectly cooked, and the fries is a must try!! I'm definitely gonna order again from that place! I usually wouldn't review chains that have been around for a long time, especially for locations that have been part of that chain for almost as long as the chain has been around, but Red Rockets' recent delivery service deserves a closer look. Don't get me wrong, for chicken wings, Red Rockets isn't half bad. Though I've had better, you can do a lot worse in the Hamilton area. Not much variety in sauce flavors (if you really want a variety go to Anchor Bar or The Fool and Flagon). They make up for the lack of sauce choices with crispy wings and the sauces they do have are flavorful. The sides have a lot to be desired for however. Stale tasting potato wedges and coleslaw that's saucier than a Tyler Perry movie character (seriously, it's like a creamy cabbage soup) are not the features for this place. All and all, RR is an above average wings place. So, why the below average review? Well, for the first time since it was available, I used their order online option for delivery. It was a fairly uneventful experience, it seemed to be functional. Checking out, I gave specific instructions to go to the backdoor of the multi-unit house I live in, where my apartment is located and requested the card machine. I was then informed my order would take roughly 45 minutes. That email was sent to me at 12:07 PM. At 1:05 PM my neighbor who lives in the front portion of the house knocked on my door and asked if I ordered Red Rockets. I was about to ask how she knew when it dawned on me that the driver knocked on her door, the front door. She being someone who works the night shift, wasn't too pleased being awoken by a food delivery guy. To save time, I grabbed my wallet and ran to the front of house via the driveway. As I pulled out my credit card I grumbled about the instructions to come to the back which was answered with "I didn't get any instructions," followed with "Um, I didn't get instructions about a card reader either." I was gobsmacked. I could deal with a few minutes late, I was going to have to apologize later to my neighbor, but I could deal with the wrong door being rung, but now I had to dig up cash to pay for my meal. The whole point I wanted to use a card was that I hadn't been to the ATM for cash! So I ask the driver to wait, dig through drawers and my car's center console, revealing treasure of lost days. Needless to say, I didn't tip the driver. A combination of his tardiness and my unwillingness to search for more legal tender resulted in the driver's decreased revenue this day. Slightly annoyed, I brought my food in noticing a can of Sprite stuffed in the bag atop my food. I hate Sprite, but if I had been given an opportunity to let RR know this, I would have told them as much. Alas, this step was completely skipped during the online order, in fact I didn't even know my food came with a soda. Fine, I'll just dig in to my hot w... ICE COLD WINGS. As I was heating up my wings, I started looking at the bill. At the top of bill read "Deliver to rear apt. Backdoor. Debit." The instructions that were supposed to be followed by the driver. So, not only was the driver late, delivered my, let's be honest here, mediocre wings cold and bothered my neighbor, he lied about not receiving instructions. Bottom line, if you're looking for decent wings in Hamilton to be delivered, there are better/more convenient places to order from. read more

I was excited to try their food, given the People's Choice Awards & reviews I had read. I got the 1/2 rack of ribs. They came w/ fries & coleslaw. My food was sitting on plastic cutlery & a wet nap packet which grossed me out a bit. The ribs were fall-off-the bone; although they had this burnt-fuel-like taste. Rocket fuel maybe, hence the name?? The fries were great & coleslaw was fine. I don't know what to make of these ribs. I called & spoke w/ a manager. He was really attentive, but had no way of explaining the taste. He offered me a credit of 15% off my next meal. I was shocked. If I spend the same amount of money next time, It works out to $2.09. Not enough of a gesture for me! They obviously don't need my business. Wonder how long that's going to last? :((( read more

Customer service is horrible, pick up phone and basically ask you to hurry up with your "shit". Did pickup and had to wait almost 20minutes after being told the order is ready. Got home to check that salad is missing and chicken wings were so small and barely had meat on them. Waste of $30 if you getting delivery. Not worth the money, go to other location. read more

The Food is good, but the service is could be better, First time, I ordered 1 lb of chicken wings with the sauce Jamaican hot and the second 1lb chicken wings with hot bbq. When i realized at home, they were both Jamaican hot. I was not impressed at all. Second time ordering from red rockets at this location. I ordered Combo#1 with a small gravy and large fries it came up to $40.85. Once again, I came home and realized they didn't give me my garlic bread which comes with the combo#1. I choose combo#1 for the garlic bread, which sadly did not come with my order. read more
