The problem with the rooms is there's Indian immigrants on the same floor so the over powering smell of curry is nauseating. My whole room smells like a wet dog that's been dead for a few days. Funny how we can't smoke in our rooms but cooking curry is ok. Then the window is calked shut so I can't even air my room out. The elevators are sketch AF. They seriously need an upgrade. The better treadmills in the fitness room are broken too. The only plus is I haven't experienced bed bugs yet but I'm not holding my breath.

My brother-in-law had already provided one, but the lady behind the desk said there wasn't one. Later that night, we wanted to take a shower. Only 3 towels were provided. Understandable, so we called and asked for more. We were told we could only have 1 more. The towels were threadbare and that is being generous, so getting dried off was a challenge. She gave us a bag and told us to put dirty towels in it and they would be replaced the next day. No towels were replaced the next day, so we asked for more. For the two rooms, which had 8 people, we got 4 new towels. You do the math. It didn't work. On Monday, we didn't get new towels and the trash still hadn't been taken out. At this point we had to borrow towels from my mother-in-law. We had to take the towels to her house and launder them so we could take showers on Tuesday. On Tuesday around 130 we had a family emergency and had to leave to be with family in Chicago. I explained our situation to the girl at the front desk and even the manager on duty. They wouldn't refund us for the Tuesday night stay. They said they could possibly be full for the night and wouldn't have time to service the rooms. Well, I can tell you that they didn't service the rooms the whole time we were there, and it was never a full house. When I went to get our stuff from our rooms, the housekeeper was in the hallway talking on her phone. I would have gladly paid for a late check out, but that place doesn't deserve a full nights pay for the completely abysmal conditions we stayed in.

But, no extra pillows and only 2 towels. Absolutely ridiculous. We were given two extra pillows but there were no extra blankets available. We were given extra towels after asking but we should have received more than two towels to start. Had to beg for more pillows and luckily for 2 more. Have more pillows and blankets. You're in the Midwest where it gets cold! We had them clean the room one time only. They put the sheets on inside out. Did they even give us clean sheets? The new towels we got were ALL STAINED. luckily we didn't have bed bugs so that was at least good. We didn't even bother with the breakfast. The water pressure in the shower is atrocious and the shampoo bottle wasn't even new, it was half used. I can't believe that their housekeeping wouldn't even change that out. I get conservation but damn that's nasty. At least the soap was new in a closed unopened "bag". The air conditioner was slow to work and took forever to cool off the room. Their site shows a pool but the pool has been out of order for years. We found a dirty pacifier under a pillow. The AC wasn't working...the coolest the room got was 74 degrees and the AC vent was dusty and mildewy. There were stains on the furniture and the room smelled stale and slightly of cigarettes. We usually check reviews before booking a hotel but didn't this time. Will never make that mistake again.

First and formost, I would never stay there ever again. I would rather stay in my car over night in…read morethe winter time. My husband and I stayed there while on our trip home from visiting my parents. We decided to stay in a cheap motel being that we already spent enough money on our trip. Cheap is exactly what we got. We atleast would have expected warm water, haha, not. The customer service was absolutely horrible. The room was dusty and cold. The heater did not heat up the whole small room. So, we tried going to sleep cause we were so tired. After about 4 hours we both woke up with headaches. We decided that we would both take showers, get some breakfast and get back on our way. Well, to our suprise, there was NO hot water. We were very upset. My husband went and rang the bell in the office for the attendant to come out, so we could give the key back. The person took forever to come up to the desk. When he told her of the problems. She said and I quote, "No refund, you leave now." Then she walked out of the office and into the back room. So, we reported them to the BBB and after 2 attempts from them, we got a response that simply stated, "we are sorry, we had some issues with the hot water and the heating." I guess telling your guests about that when they check in, is too much. Anyway, we wrote back to the BBB telling them that an apology was not enough and that we think we deserve a refund. So, one week later, we recieved a check in the mail. I honestly would not tell my enemy to stay in this place. Thanks for reading.
