The views from the arena are a stunning backdrop for any bride and groom wanting have an outdoor ceremony. Inside the barn there are three defined spaces. The foyer with its high ceilings and comfy furniture welcoming you inside. This is also where the restrooms are located. They have two newly constructed restrooms with multiple stalls in addition to the two original ones. The venue provides tables and chairs and table coverings for your event. There's a built in rustic bar in the corner of the main event space where clients can have a hired bartender serving drinks of their choice. The facilities are set up for a catering company to bring in the food of the clients choice or your band/DJ to unload easily with large rolling door access on either end of the barn. I visited in February so the trees were bare but I can only imagine how gorgeous the space looks in the spring, summer and fall. We were told they host smaller meetings there being able to block off spaces for a more intimate feel or can seat up to 1500 utilizing the whole space.

The owners were tending bar, and they had an awesome musician and a food truck (side chicks). We went for two flight/tastings, which came with five 1.5 ounce pours of your choice. We opted for three whites (Sauv Blanc, Viognier, and Riesling) and all the reds (Merlot, Montepulciano, Chambourcin, cab Sauvignon, and a couple of blends (including a meritage). They are in the process of releasing a new Monte/nebbiolo blend, which I'm thrilled we were able to try. All the wines were delightful, but I was particularly fond of the mystique (Chambourcin), meritage, and the cab. There is a large offering of over 20 varieties. One of the current owners led our tasting and gave us detailed explanations of the history and thought process behind each wine. There are 11 wines that were the original Autumn Creek wines and then the new owners have added some new wines and new blends under the label Gioia dell'Amore Cellars. We liked all of the wines that we tasted. Our favorites were the Diamond Girl White & Red Blends and the Embrace Meritage red blend. After our tasting we purchased a bottle of Diamond Girl Red to enjoy on property. Outside the tasting room are a large deck and a brick patio with sweeping views of grapevines, a pond, a waterfall, a gazebo, a covered area and an event venue (where an anniversary party was taking place). It made for a relaxing and enjoyable afternoon.

Every corner is beautifully decorated, and the whole place smells absolutely heavenly. I enjoyed the Blood Orange Bliss, which was delicious--but honestly, I don't think you could order a bad drink here! Today, I went to Oasis at the Mill for a delicious Velvet Fog chaga- & kava-infused drink. I also booked a Vibro-Acoustic Therapy session for the first time! I was asked what I was feeling to experience energetically out of the various programs available and I chose "Release". I didn't know what to expect and it turned out to be quite profound and healing on many levels so I want to share my experience. I was taken to a beautiful dark teal room with Tibetan prayer flags overhead...tranquil and inviting. I put on some padded headphones while the program was being initiated, and made myself comfortable on my back on an ergonomically sculpted bed. Resonant music came through the headphones as the bed began to vibrate and undulate, my back and legs receiving a massage-like experience as my entire body felt the resonance of sound healing. My first impression was feeling I was a garden being tilled...old stagnant energy was being lifted and shaken and I felt a renewed energy pouring through me. In time, I connected my experience with the elements, grounding energy of Earth, sinking and flowing as Water, lifting and moving in spirals as Air, and the warmth and blaze of Fire...as these blended into Spirit I began to journey and fell into what felt like a sleep state. I came out of the sleep state as the resonance shifted, and it gently brought me to stillness over several minutes, softening and slowing until the program ended. I felt refreshed and renewed and was already deciding that "Oh, I have to do this on a regular basis!" And, the fact that there are programs to access many energetic states is so exciting! I can say from the bottom of my freshly renewed heart, DO try this new healing opportunity at Oasis at the Mill! It is truly extraordinary!

As a newer venue, they really have come a long way. Over the past year and a half, they have added a lot of amenities! One of the main reasons we chose to have our wedding here, was the fact that they have a rain plan which came in handy on our wedding day. The covered pavilion is huge and the garage doors can be down or raised. There is a beautiful fireplace feature under the pavilion as well. The outdoor ceremony space under the big shade tree is beautiful and the stone paved aisle is a nice touch. They do have AC and heat inside the pavilion but the space is so large it takes a while to cool down. The house across the street is available to rent for the entire weekend which fit our needs perfectly. My girlfriends and I were able to spend the night together in the house before my wedding day. The house has been beautifully remodeled and decorated nicely. Another feature that drew us to Mayberry Meadows was the gorgeous and spacious getting ready spaces. The upstairs is where the girls get ready and there is a ton of natural light, a huge bathroom, a coffee bar, mini fridge, the list goes on. Downstairs is the "man cave" with a full kitchen, bar, pool table, darts, large TV. The guys absolutely loved hanging out in this space on our wedding day. There is a door that separates the two spaces which keeps privacy intact. The venue is about a 5 to 8 minute drive from hotels and this was a huge plus when considering transportation for our guests. Gina and her staff work around the clock to make sure everything is taken care of. I would definitely recommend booking your wedding at Mayberry Meadows!
