Originally funded by the Government of Alberta Money Mentors is the only organization that can set up an OPD (orderly payment of debt) program for you which consolidates all your debts and comes up with a payment plan for you so that you don't have to declare bankruptcy. Coaching people with their money is something I would love to get into as a career and I'm happy to announce that Money Mentors is making steps into the community. This means educating young people so that they don't end up in situations where their debt is over-whelming. Money Mentors in Edmonton now has extended hours which gives flexibility to a variety of individuals and they also offer one free financial fitness class a month which focuses on setting you up for a strong financial future. However, when I got my first email reminding me that a payment would be due: I asked my agent to come to my home, at her schedule, to review and explain coverage - she would not after inheriting our account when the previous rep left, and basically, doing nothing. I left a review accordingly on their dealer - LINK INSURANCE in Calgary - site to share her unwillingness to meet ~ in other words, do her job. We researched several other insurers and found someone for $1000 less a year or $100 per month. Apparently, their apathy campaign isn't working. It made me apathetic to remain loyal.
