Open daily, even outside of the baseball season, the Team Store has everything from hats, to shirts, to sweatpants, to license plates frames, to calendars, to mugs, to lanyards and so much more! Literally: I am sure you can find any piece of Red Sox merchandise in here! The only thing I would change -- and it's likely down to the manufacturers -- would be to have more women's specific items. More t-shirts cut for women, more hats that are fitted to a typical woman's head, etc. The selection for unisex items is amazing. Definitely a must visit when you're near Fenway! We traveled from Chicago to Boston for a tour of Fenway park. Afterwards I really wanted to get a Tshirt from the team store acknowledging I was here. Walked across to the team store after the tour, there was a very large group of about 40+ people. We walked in and started looking at shirts. I was ready to purchase and leave. A gentleman came up and told us we had to leave because they "were closed." They made us walk out of the building and then allowed other customers to stay and compete their shopping. It's really disappointing that the store couldn't want 5 more mins for me to grab a shirt and leave. For being such a great tour I was really unhappy with the service at the team store. This is your obligatory Team Shop across from Fenway Park to buy anything and everything Red Sox. (+) This place is HUGE! You will find so much Red Sox gear and swag that it will blow your mind. This place was much bigger than the Team Store at both Wrigley Field and Nationals Park (the other 2 Ballparks I visited this summer). It was a lot of fun just to browse around the store and check out all the different things available here! (+) All employees we encountered were very friendly and helped out with questions about where to locate specific items. (-) Prices are, as expected, pretty inflated. Seems like the average price of a Bo Sox tee will run you at least $40 on average. Yowzer! That still didn't stop me though as I still had to have my souvenirs of my first ever game at Fenway Park! I grabbed a couple of awesome shirts here! It is what it is. This store is everything you read about online. There are so many items, it almost overwhelming. But there is something for every thing for everybody and you can get some great finds for reason prices too. Before a game this place is madness but lines to check out move quickly. Not being from the area, of course I bought too much. The bags my items were placed in didn't have handles. How am I supposed to carry my loot?! So I had to buy a bag, which wasn't a problem but I had already paid. My cashier offered me to get back in line and I told him he was crazy. So another cashier offered to get a bag for me and to wait where I was. So I guess the service balanced each other out?! The store is open all sorts of hours so I'd recommend dropping in when it's not game day. read more

I was born in Boston and the Red Sox are my favorite sports franchise in Boston! I moved to CT in 2000 - since then, I return 1-3 times year to get new Sox gear. I love the store, the location, the history and the Red Sox! You can't go wrong at the team store - they have a huge selection. On game days they have some of the opposition team merch as well which is fair. Hats get wrecked at the gym and in the humid summuhs so I need 1-2 new hats per year. We landed in Boston and as we were waiting to collect our baggage he turned to me and asked if we could stop by Fenway. The Red Sox Team Store is located on Jersey Street (previously known as Yawkey Way) on a stretch that is locked down on Red Sox home game days, so that only ticketed folk may enter 90 minutes before game time. If you want a nice free souvenir, stop by the Store and head on in to the far left corner to the Red Sox Clubhouse for their Autograph Alley experience where a former Red Sox player, coach or personality is hosted to sign autographs for free for about an hour. So when the game starts at 7pm and the gates open at 5:30pm, your window of opportunity is 5:30 - 6:30pm. When I came, they were handing out free black and white photographs of Ken Ryan (pitcher) that we could bring to him to sign for us. He was a nice guy, and was even willing to pose for a picture with me. read more

Red Sox stuff A huge souvenir store located "only 67 feet " from Fenway. At least that's what the sign says. Mainly Red Sox stuff but also lots of Pats, Bruins and Celtics clothing and memorabilia too. There must be literally thousands of different hats on the wall, with every possible variety of Red Sox logo and style in existence and not one single shitty Yankee hat to be found. They also have toys, flags and clothing of every description. You can find a shirt for every single Red Sox player on the team and shirts for many of the Boston heroes of the past. The store is basically divided into two sections. The first is where anyone can just walk in. It's where the usual t-shirts and the zillion of hats are. The prices are mostly reasonable. The back of the store has the section where you have to walk thorough the detectors. They should have a sign here warning people with weak hearts. The prices of some of this stuff will make you gasp. Possibly die on the spot if you do have a weak heart. If you want something, absolutely anything, that has to do with the Red Sox, you will find it here. I am not a Red Sox fan, but this was one super awesome amazing store. They literally have EVERYTHING and anything you could ever want as the #1 Red Sox fan. I mean everything. (Note to Red Sox "newbies"... wearing a beat up hat from 12 years ago confers special status to the fan as a serious and longtime Red Sox fan and not somebody who jumped on the bandwagon in 2004. Know who "El Guapo" is and win the respect of your seatmates. While any woman looks better in a Sox hat, eschew the pink for a blue one.) The store is separated into two sections - the "hat" side and the "$$$" side. Got all my Red Sox and Fenway Park gear. Everybody was very helpful, even when we had to leave the store because the street was closing.

After conferring with a store staff member over the phone, I mailed an item to them to make an exchange. It was purchased as a gift in the store. It has been over two weeks and no one has called. I never ever write reviews but feeling really ripped off right now. I bought a sweatshirt there today for $100.00. I checked the 47 brand website later just to browse a little more , and lo and behold the same exact top was $75.00! I actually called the company and they were appalled at the huge difference, but said that is what happens at the Fenway store. Again, the price wasn't lower on some 3rd party bargain website, it was same company! Same owners! I did go back in and they said store credit only. How can they not price match? I might understand a small markup but $25.00?! Shame on them. I have shopped here for years as a loyal Bostonian and Sox Fan. Fun fact: the 47 brand store on Newbury St also had the top for 75. I was having a great, fun family day in Boston. Everything was perfect; meals, weather. I really couldn't have asked for more. That was, until I stopped by the Red Sox Team Store on Yawkey Way... I knew prices would be expensive as I have been to this store before, and they were. Like, really expensive. That's not where my 1-star review is coming from though. I really wanted to stop by here to return a ball cap that was purchased for me as a gift. Unfortunately it was a bit too small so I wanted to go up a size. It had all tags and stickers on it, including a barcode from this specific store. I wasn't looking for a refund, just an exchange. The girl working at the register was nice. She was happy to exchange for me but got pulled away to work on something else. One of the managers stepped in and explained that I couldn't exchange without a receipt. Again, the hat was new and unworn. This manager was EXTREMELY rude, speaking over me and not allowing me to explain myself. It's a shame that they have to treat people unfairly. Here's how awesome these folks are: I was in town for the Boston Marathon and the night after we attended a game. I went into the Red Sox Team Store to find a hat. Let's just say I was a little ambitious in my purchase and I walked out of the store with a on-the-field flat billed hat. Once I got home and back to reality it became clear that I was never going to wear that hat. It just wasn't me. I figured there wasn't much I could do at this point considering that I didn't have a receipt and I also didn't have any of the original tags. But, I thought, I'll give it a shot. So, I took a screen shot of my bank account where I had made the purchase and I emailed it to customer support explaining my issue and my interest in exchanging what I had for something else. To my surprise they said, "sure". Even when I was sending the product back I was sure they were going to call explaining that I could only exchange for a different size, not a different product. That call never came. Instead, they sent exactly what I asked for, they threw in a koozie because I had a little extra money after the "return" and they never charged me for return shipping. Despite the fact that the Red Sox sucked giant meatballs this year, I have been, and will always be, a fan of this store as my go-to place for Red Sox gear. I never leave empty handed, whether it be a Youk (sad face) sweatband or a sign for Red Sox parking only. My only beef- the prices are pretty steep when you're on a budget, although sale racks do lurk (not that I want a Carl Crawford shirt). The obligatory stop for Red Sox gear on any special trip to Fenway. I was impressed by the range of apparel for men, women, children, and pets, particularly once I found the yellow shirt with the classic Red Sox lettering on it (I don't wear red, so I was hoping for navy or green until I found the yellow). There's a whole side of the store with just memorabilia, where I found golf balls for my toddler. You can't have unpaid merchandise in that side of the store, so either start there or have your friends hold the t-shirts and hats that you picked out on the other side. Prices are what I'd expect from any official merchandise store. The cashiers were helpful and efficient. If you're there early enough, you'll be asked to leave promptly so that they can clear out Yawkey Way to make it only available for ticket holders, when they then reopen it. read more

I bought two sweatshirts here. I thought they were quite nice. After wearing for a couple months, one of them had a small defect which caused a small tear. I emailed them on a Monday night (not in season), and the next day they sent me a replacement, and a return label for the other one. Couldn't ask for better customer service. We like everything we got here. Easy in and out from the park as well. We were in our seats behind home plate, with beers and weiners, within 5 minutes of checking out of the store. read more
