My main complaint is not the pricing or the items but the staff. There is a middle aged woman who works (owns?) the Jumble Store who seems gracious and kind with many customers but not with all. Whenever I have to talk to the deyassified Marcia Gay Harden that works check out, she is cold, brusque, and it's as she cannot wait for me to get out as soon as possible. I don't know if this is because I look super gay or what but it's really unpleasant and makes me go here as often as I might otherwise.

The shop is located in an old house, which adds to the charm but limits those with mobility issues As the only way in are steep stairs. There is a nice selection of pocket books, clothing and accessories. The young lady who works there was very friendly and helpful. I purchased a pocketbook for my vacation and fell in love with another pocketbook but decided against buying it for the price. Ah, girls and their pocketbooks because I couldn't stop thinking of it! I came back the same day, before closing and ended up buying the second pocketbook for work. I put the pocketbook in my closet and left for vacation with the casual pocketbook. Well this morning before heading back to work, I decided to take it out and opened it to put my wallet in and saw it was damaged..ugh! Mind you, I should have inspected the purse further before buying it. But I was so happy with the first purchase that I didn't think to inspect the interior. Seeing the price, I am annoyed that I wasn't told about this. Look at the picture! I loved the store, but would be more cautious about purchasing a pocketbook here.
