The NB Factory Store in JERSEY GARDENS MALL is a pretty decently sized store with what I consider to be a very wide selection of NB shoes and other products for men and women. On the three recent occasions I shopped in this store, I was met and greeted by some very nice and considerate employees who were very helpful and considerate, especially after I told them I am hearing impaired. During my second visit to this store, I had a very particular style of running shoe in mind and fortunately, I was able to find my size quickly. After some quick browsing and a final look-see, I was able to get out of the store in a very short period of time. If you are a fan of New Balance products, I recommend this factory store without reservation. The prices are great, especially during their BOGO events and even without them, buying an individual pair of shoes there will be, IMO, a worthwhile trip.

He's happy to let you try it out and come back and make more adjustments, and he's spent a lot of time working through different options with us so we didn't have to buy another boot. He's also let us try different boots, and will order more to size if we want to try them. Of course, like any shop, once you put on the blades, you can't return them, but he has consigned a few boots in the past from his prior skaters. He'll give you his opinion on what works, of course, but he hasn't pressured us to buy anything we didn't want, and he's not selling some crazy expensive custom soles or similar stuff. He also works across the street in the Codey Ice Rink, so you can go to a freestyle/public/club session if you schedule with him and try out boots to come back and do more adjustments, which is helpful. They also sell a bunch of skateboard and in-line/roller skate equipment here.

We had such a pleasant experience, and I was so satisfied with the fitting that Arline provided! The bras are exceptional quality and she knew just exactly what I needed! I am so happy with my new bras and silicone form suggested by Arline! She is so pleasant, kind and understood my needs completely! I'll start by saying, I have not had my hair professionally braided since the 90s. I've been doing…read moremy hair on my own most of my life. Recently, after taking an unprecedented 5 days to do my hair I realized that it would probably be best to revisit my trust issues around other people in my head. Looking for a more time efficient solution, I booked an appointment with a place in NJ for Bora Bora/ Boho Braids. I ordered the hair I needed in June for a July 15th appointment. The hair salon required the hair to be there before the day of my appointment. I do not have a car so I took the necessary steps of mailing it there ahead of time. For reasons out of my control, the package never reached its destination, and the appointment had to be cancelled. I was, quite honestly pretty devastated. I'm typing the summary version of this but it was 2 weeks' worth of drama between the Hair salon, the front desk of my building and the post office. Still hoping to have the style done, I made a new appointment in NYC and waited for the package ($250 worth of hair) to be returned to me in time. The hair never came. The post office lost the package. The Saturday before my hair appointment, after coming to the realization that the hair would be lost forever, I decided to try and find the hair I needed in New Jersey. Again, I do not have a car so I took several Ubers to different hair locations searching for type of hair I needed. I eventually landed at Stadium Beauty which was pretty far from me but I was really excited to see that they no only had the hair I needed but they also had the hair color variety I needed. Because I hadn't had my hair professionally braided since the 90s, and because I was color mixing, I purchased 5 packs of human hair and two other hair products. This came to a total of $250. Before finalizing my purchase the woman I spoke with at the counter let me know I could bring the hair back that I didn't use and she made sure that I tucked the receipt into my fanny pack so I wouldn't loose it. Can not overstate how happy I was that I managed to find a solution to what felt like a slew of problems leading up to me just trying to get my hair braided. The store was clean, the products were plentiful, and the staff was lovely. I left a very happy customer. After getting my hair done in NYC, I saw that the hair salon had barely used two packs of hair. I did not realize that they wouldn't be braiding with the curly hair I purchased and would instead only be using it for the "Boho" part of the style. I thought this was fine because I'd simply return the unused hair to Stadium Beauty. I knew I had to make the return within 7 days so I found the receipt and got ready to call an Uber. Before doing so however, I noticed for the first time on the bottom of the receipt that it said "no refunds, exchange only" and it went further on to say they would not accept hair if it were returned. I wanted to make sure I wasn't going to waste money going back to the store in an Uber so I called them and asked them if they'd accept the hair that I needed to return. The women on the other end said they would seeing as how it was within the 7 day window. When I got to the store, I explained the situation above and told them I did not realize the hair salon would not be using all the hair. I told them I was hoping to return the hair and get money back. The woman at the front called the owner over where I re-explained my story. He was clearly not happy with the situation and insisted that store credit was the only possible solution to my problem. But after some time, he acquiesced and basically told me they would refund it but to never come to that store again. Listen, do I think this was incredibly harsh? Yes. But there's nothing I could do about that. The likelihood of me returning was slim since I only went out there for emergency reasons in the first place. I don't have a car and it costs a little over $40 for me to get there with Ubers in the first place. I had no other choice but to agree. Unfortunately for me, according to the owner, they recently switched over to a new payment system which meant that they had no record of my previous purchase just 6 days ago. There was, apparently, no other choice but for me to get a store credit of $150 that I'll likely not use because I live so far away. He extended the store credit to 2025, so who knows, maybe I'll find a way back there. I waited for the Uber I called to take me home and cried in the car- not just because of this but because of all the stuff that happened leading up to it and this being the cherry on top. I say all of this to say- make sure you double check your receipt. Don't buy more than you need, even if by accident because you will not be able to get your money back. Outside of this, my experience was pleasant.
