I read the care tag on the shirt and actually thought about washing and drying the shirt at home but that would then require ironing it myself...so, not happening. So I put the shirt in my car and was imagining it being driven around for months before I remembered to finally drop it off at a dry cleaners. So while I was sitting at a red light I happened to look across the intersection and saw Custom Village Cleaners. This was not news to me by as I drive past Custom Village Cleaners two or three times every week on my way to check the PO Box. I just hadn't consciously thought about where to take my shirt. I decided this was a sign so I pulled into the parking lot, grabbed my shirt, and went in. I was greeted immediately and asked how much it would be to have a dress shirt cleaned and was told two dollars...sounded like a deal to me. This was Thursday late afternoon; she asked if there was any hurry for it and I said no. So it would be ready anytime on Saturday. I went back Saturday and was again greeted immediately, I presented my ticket and she retrieved my shirt, clean and bagged and on a hangar. They have a sign if you are in a hurry that says "In by 11 out by 4" that is good to know. And I like to support neighborhood businesses that do a good job so this worked out well.

This particular trip, I had a small load of items to use since we had a small pipe leak in the laundry room which just ended up being a leaky faucet. Anyway, I've been to a few laundromats in my day, and they can get pretty ugly and gross. This one is really super nice, clean and affordable. Everything is in good working order. They have plenty of washing machines both double and triple loaders, along with an entire wall of dryers. The double loader washing machines are reasonably priced at about $2.25 I think? They look brand new too. The triple loaders are about $2.75 to wash and do a pretty good job. Their clean, don't smell and each load runs about 30 minutes long. Dryers are plentiful at 25 cents for 8 minutes. They also have a really nice change machine built into the wall with two slots for bills. I think it goes up to $20 for change to use in the machines. I also like that they have detergent, dryer sheets, Oxy clean and a few other incidentals for sale in a vending machine in case you need extra supplies. I think it's a dollar a box, which isn't bad. There's also a few folding tables with a couple metal carts to move your laundry around from machine to machine or to a table to fold. Plenty of garbage cans and the place is always clean. The only downside is I never see an attendant here, like ever. So, if money gets stuck in the machine, I think you have to call a phone #. I wish they had a human here for sure. Overall, a nice laundromat with plenty of space to move around, clean and in good working order. I will be back in the future!

They asked me to come back later, assuming that they were going to find the clothes. I went back the next day, and they still had not found my clothes! I had to wait 10 minutes while the person looked for them. Eventually they found them, but it was very annoying. I am looking for a better dry cleaner in the area, but most of the reviews are dismal except for one. Will try that one next. P.S. Lahser Cleaners has a minimum charge for credit cards -- I think it's $5 or $10. (Otherwise you have to use cash)
