Having a different area code than what she was used to was a big ordeal for her. Came back to pick up items, only to wait a few minutes again (I'm still the only customer there). Had to pay BEFORE seeing my clothes. Never had to do that before, & got uncomfortable (what if I found a problem with their service harming my blouses & crediting back money to my card, etc.). I expressed my concerns, but got no response. Took an inordinate amount of time retrieving the blouses on purpose. There are plenty of sitting areas and a couple vending machines. Pricing is very reasonable and they even take credit cards. They are open until 7p daily and also offer drop-off laundry for $1/lb. It's not a bad laundry per se, but it's definitely got that run down, depressing feel to it. I don't know what this joint is like during non-insomniac hours. I've only been here twice round about Vampire Thirty. The coin acceptors on the machines are blissfully non-fussy. Many of the coin slots I encounter at other laundromats are more like coin rejectors. There's picnic tables inside to chill at but they also double as the only good places to lay out and fold your clothes. Not a problem if the place is late night desolate- my first visit there was only a couple other customers and this last time I had the joint all to myself- but that real estate is probably heavily in demand if it ever gets busy in here. There's a candy machine I haven't used and a soda machine that's exiled to the outside. Brightly lit up, ceiling fans spinning, WNIC playing soft rock, Quick Clean Laundry isn't too different from Uptown up the road. Well, they have WCSX instead, I think. Probably why I gave em three stars. A beat up car always stands sentry out front between the building and Gratiot. I assume it belongs to whomever lives upstairs who I imagine is in charge of making sure this place earns the Clean in its name. That seems to be the way it goes at Halfway over in Eastpointe. Yeah, I know all the depressing, all night laundromats up and down Gratiot. It probably says more about me than these dumpy laundromats that I keep coming back. I had yelped different mats across town and this one came up 5 stars. So we drove here from Mount Clemens. They have all different types of washers. They range from 1-6 loads. Which is cool. I don't know that. And can get done quicker. It's clean and quiet. Has WIFI and a coin dispenser. Which that was another thing I was nervous about. I didnt have any quarters. They also have a machine where u can buy detergent and dryer sheets.

The floor looked like it wasn't swept in while because cobwebs were noticeable along with dirt. Some of the washing machines had (blue) detergent on them and no one cleaned it off. The seats to sit while you wait were dirty as well. I didn't want to sit on them. The video games were so old and out of date as well as the vending machine. Who knows how long the bags of Fritos were in there. The most disgusting thing was the doors when you open them or going out. There are many signs that have been ripped off with information and sticky glue left on the door window, it looked like there were fingerprints all over inside and outside from top to bottom. On top of it all, the sign above the laundromat was removed and it just says laundromat. I will not be back. The only reason why I came be because it was very close to my neighborhood, but I won't be back.
