I ended up with an infection and he worked with me through it and when he realized I needed more drastic intervention, he sent me to an Infectious Disease doctor and continued to work with him and get updates on my condition. I now see Dr. Preston Imhof for a vertigo/motion sickness condition and he's been great to help me out with ADA forms for work. Tip: Fill the forms out for your doctor and then have him review them. Not only does this save on time, but he doesn't know what your job is, so this helps tremendously. On my last visit he thanked me for having the forms prefilled out and all he had to do was review and sign. He said it's a huge time saver for them. It also saved me the fee for him having to fill out the form! :-)

After having 3 different sinus surgeries with 2 different ENTs that were unsuccessful I am certainly glad I found Dr. Downie. I am 4 days post op and can already tell a difference. I am an adult (25) and have had some pretty rough experiences with the scopes/instruments that were run down my nose at other offices, Dr. Downie has never once rushed or gotten annoyed when I asked him to slow down or give me a break. That being said, I am overall satisfied. The wait times in his office are not terrible but don't expect to be in and out. Wait times can be long, however like I said before... He never made me feel rushed.Rita has been fantastic and has gone above and beyond working with myself and my insurance for my surgery. I had to work with not only my insurance but a 3rd party to get a cpap machine before surgery and she helped with that as well as Vaughn. REALLY disappointed!…read more I don't often leave reviews, but I feel the need to share one for this frustrating ENT practice. I had suspected I may have sleep apnea for several years and decided to finally get it checked out. I chose Northeast Atlanta ENT in Dacula to get their evaluation of my situation. I was given a home sleep study to complete, and I was told I needed to get at least five hours of sleep for the test to be valid. If I didn't get five hours of sleep, the office staff told me I could do a free retest. Well, I only got 3.5 hours of sleep after lying awake for a really long time. But they said based on the test results that I got 6 hours of sleep, which is simply not true. They believed the test "results" over their patient's word. I was told I don't have apnea and was offered no free retest, despite my repeated explanations that the test inaccurately indicated more sleep than I actually got, which skews the results. If you divide the number of apnea incidents that occurred in the test during the 3.5 hours I was actually asleep over 3.5 hours rather than 6, I likely do have apnea. So, after paying more than $800 out of pocket (including $40 for the staff to literally hand me the sleep study equipment and provide a two-minute explanation of how to use it) after my high-deductible insurance plan paid their small portion, I walked away with NOTHING but frustration and zero clarity on whether I actually have apnea or not. Oh, I can get a retest, they told me, but they'd have to charge me again. No thank you - not here. I have no interest in paying ANOTHER $800 for nothing. This practice is not at all concerned about my health; they are completely focused on their bottom line. I highly recommend going with another ENT practice if you want true patient-centered care that is going to accurately diagnose you. This place will leave you with empty pockets and disappointment.

Waiting 55 minutes no one showed up or even to pop their head in to update or let me know a lame excuse as to why they are running behind. I then left. as I was leaving, three technicians were checking their phones. I can only reason they are not empowered to convey any message of apology for running late, nor have the self starting impetus to do it themselves. So I simply cannot comment on how good or very bad this office is as I never was seen, diagnosed or even provided some assurance that someone would ultimately see me. I thought I had a sinus infection because of the pain I was having. I have been sick with respiratory issues and Covid so she said I should have a CT scan done to determine whether I have anything else going. I feel very safe in her care. She also gave me some medication to help with the symptoms but it is a herbal medication that I don't have to worry about upsetting my digestive tract. I'm already feeling better!

Wasnt notified in writing or by phone about this change. I havent been able to reach anyone to transfer my medical records to another provider.
