Let me be clear, This five star rating is strictly fir the evening shift at Reddy Urgent care, that saw me on 6/17/2025. I arrived late evening about 7:18pm. I was greeted by a very friendly staff , they took my co-pay of $55.00. I had taken a fall and hurt my left wrist, all went well with xrays and ace bandaged wrapped wrist and upper arm, then I was released with aftercare instructions. I returned the morning of 6/19/2025 only Requested a rewrap my ace bandaged had came undone, I was met with rudeness from the reception person, that told me that wasn't possible, and I would have to be started another admission just to get a "rewrap" which in my opinion should be a courtesy! I want to add that the female nurse that came out to explain why I couldn't get a rewrap, was cold, unyielding, no eye contact "Robot" that was not interested in anything else I had to say. If you have to resort to Reddy Urgent Care, I wouldn't recommend the morning shift!! If you can wait evenings until close!! You would find much better care and genuinely caring staff. read more

Three days later I had to came back for my skin-test reading. A Reading. All they had to do was look at the fact the bump on my arm was gone and give me my papers. I was told I owed $17 from a previous visit. Additionally They told me my copay would be $70. I told them I had full Medicare and full Medicaid. She said no, you only have Medicare. I gave her my Medicare card, and she entered all of my information into the computer and said ok you will only be billed for the $17 previous visit. I got home and checked my account. $90 had been taken out. I called them back, and they told me they did not take Medicare. (I had received their number from my provider) Afterwards, I called my provider back and found out they DO take Medicare! They got DOUBLE paid (until I got my money back). I used to regularly go to this Reddy Aid until a chronic issue started to appear. The staff tried the best that they could to help me figure out what it was, but this is a place that works to solve the symptoms, and they don't exactly have the system in place to walk through more persistent and chronic issues. However, the reason I'm giving this place two stars is because of my treatment with billing. A series of tests I had done were sent to Lab Corp, which was not listed under my insurance at that time. My insurance was not able to cover the labs, which came out to charge me $909 (usually my labs cost me 105~). This was back in April, and I was informed by Reddy Aid that: 1. It is not their responsibility to know which lab is under my insurance or not (I now make sure I know which labs are in network and which are not, but I've had experience at Peachtree Urgent Care where they make SURE to send your labs out to the proper networks, so I am damn sure this in Reddy Aids wheelhouse and they have the capabilities to do this.) 2. Send in a letter of Financial Hardship and they will see what they can do. It took them five months. FIVE MONTHS. To get back to me and tell me the bill wasn't their responsibility, that it was the responsibility of the lab who charged me. It should not have taken me five months to hear back about this, and risk having this bill sent to collections while I try to figure this out. This is on top of REPEATEDLY calling billing to try and ask for a status update. This is unfortunately an expense that I have to take, and I'm now more mindful of learning what is exactly in network with my insurance and what isn't in network, but this lab should not have been sent out of network to begin with, and it definitely should not have taken almost half a year for them to simply dig their heels in and reject something that is most certainly in their power. If you find yourself in a position where you need to see an Urgent Care, I would recommend going to Peachtree on Baxter. I will not be returning here. read more

I went to this Urgent Care location on May 22nd. I am insured by Tricare, and was told they accept them. The wait was close to 45 minutes; not bad for a last minute walk in. Eventually blood was drawn, and the PA and nurse both told me I'd get the lab results back in about 7 business days. It is now June 6th, and I still do not have results. I have called 11 times in the past 8 days. The only person I have spoken with is the front desk (who picks up on a rare occasion) who then forwards me to the nurse's phone line. That line rings until the voicemail picks up- they ask you to leave a message, which I do (I have left 3 or 4). Nobody returns the phone calls. On two occasions I have spoken with the front desk, and when they forward me to the nurses phone line, the voicemail is full, and it automatically hangs up on me. The two hours I spent there were about as pleasant as an urgent care can be, but clearly they do not follow up with treatment plans for patients. Hope my labs are normal and nothing serious is going on... clearly they have no intention of telling me what the results are. Don't waste your time here. read more

Walked into a lobby with about 3 people, me needing a quick test for strep throat. Waited for about an hour and a half, with people walking in and getting attention before me. After an hour and a half I go back and sit in the room, nurse asks a few questions and leaves me to wait. Thirty minutes later i'm still in this room waiting for the doctor. Dont know why they dont have the time to test me real quick, the lobby was empty by the time I was taken back. Also charged me 30 mins into being here so I cant exactly leave and find someplace with better service. Not too happy. read more

When I went to get a yearly check-up, the receptionist told me that with my insurance there would be a $16 deductible for the check-up services. What the receptionist did not tell me was there was $82.83 in hidden fees they billed me after I had the check-up. That is over 5x the stated price. Very fast treatment and affordable treatment. Came in on Saturday morning. Filled out less annoying paperwork that any other place ever. I was checked 5 minutes later by the doctor himself. Other clinics have the nurse do all the checking and the don for just tell you what you have, if you see them at all. I was out in 10 to 15 minutes. When I came back today Monday they were just as fast. They explain everything clearly, and since it was my second time there, I paid almost half of what I had to pay last time. Every time I come here I get upset. It takes FOREVER! You wait a while in the waiting room, then they call you back and you think you're getting somewhere. Then you wait for the doctor anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour and a half. There's nothing urgent about this place. These guys are also my PCP! But, if I'm sick- they tell me to go to urgent care. The only way to see my doctor is to make an appointment weeks in advance. Apparently they don't handle sick patients. Only well visits. I will say that all the nurses are very friendly. My doctor today was nice. But I have had a few awful rude doctors in urgent care. If there was another urgent care anywhere close to me that accepted my stupid insurance, I would go elsewhere. Very poor customer service. Provided copy of my insurance card issued by the largest employer in the Athens area. They provided me with what I needed to pay before being seen. Paid my co-pay prior to visit. They ordered blood work, then sent to an out of network lab which resulted in another bill from the lab. Emailed the office manager Sherri Craft numerous times. My insurance company even got involved calling trying to get resolved. After 70+ days she finally responds with nothing they can do, my responsibility to know and advise them what lab they should send blood work to. Ridiculous to say the least. read more

Walked in and we were immediately greeted by a kind woman who smiled the entire time. Did not expect that. We filled out paperwork and then called back to check vitals. This nurse was outstanding and quick. We went from there to the doctors room and promptly seen. The doctor (Katherine Bond) was incredibly thorough. As we left, the same nurse who greeted us at the front thanked us and said bye. We were in and out in 45 minutes. Incredibly thankful for this place. Highly recommend. read more

I went in at around 5:30 on a Saturday night and there were maybe 2 or 3 people ahead of me waiting. Sign-in process was kinda dumb (on iPad) and signed up for the 5:50 appointment time. It wasn't until 6:25 that I went up to the desk and asked what the holdup was and they finally met with me at 6:35 (45 minutes after they told me). No one apologized or said anything about the wait time even though it was just for a simple flu test. On top of that the vending machine in the lobby would not allow me to purchase anything and it instead ate my $1 and the front desk just stated "Oh that doesn't work" without an apology or offer to fix it. There was also no water fountain in the lobby and I was definitely dehydrated. Besides that they did their job and the facilities were nice for the most part but don't come here if you expect fast or customer friendly service! read more

I went for ADHD testing with Dr. Carr. I had to call and reschedule and the person who rescheduled me put me with Dr. Reddy. A few days before I called to confirm that she still did ADHD testing because that was the only reason I was coming in for an appointment and they told me that she did. Upon arrival and meeting with Dr. Reddy she told me that they no longer did ADHD testing and haven't for a year. It was very frustrating especially since I called to confirm and still wasted a morning going up there. Will not use them again. read more

Arrived around 1:00 with my grandson. Checked his ears and did strep test which was negative. MA prescribed antibiotic and cough syrup. Checked out around 30 minutes later. Was told prescriptions would be electronically submitted. Arrived at Publix. Sat and Sat. No prescription for cough syrup ever arrived. Called ReddyCare. Was told cough syrup was a controlled substance could not be electronically transmitted, so they will get doctor to sign a paper copy and it would be faxed. Sat and sat. Called ReddyCare again. " we can't fax it because it is a controlled substance. You'll have to come back to office and pick it up or give me your phone number and I'll get a message to the doctor. They'll call you and decide what to do". It is now 4:00. In the meantime my grandson has vomited twice in Publix due to coughing spasms. He is crying. Still on phone with ReadyCare, told her I would leave Publix and drive back to the office. They're worthless, uncaring and unprofessional. They have a very smart alecky attitude. The management of this place sucks. Hour and a half to three hours for a drug test. I mean, I'm not a practice manager, but I think I would have trained more than one person in performing drug tests. Then, I may have not had him running the front desk while there are drug tests actively coming in. I may even suggest that a few of the six or seven befuddled employees standing around be trained in how to perform a drug test that took a whopping five minutes to do. I was told Reddy was the doctors last name that started or owns the group. I would be pretty ashamed to have my name on something that operated this poorly. Out of all the pre employment drug tests I've taken, this one visit lasted longer than all of my previous drug tests combined. Paid almost $120 to see a doctor for 5 mins after waiting 2 hours, then the medicine I was prescribed didn't work. So I messaged the Doctor through their patient portal on-line, when i was low on medicine and a nurse called me and left a message... I called back and got voice mail. then I called the next day and got voice mail again. Finally I called and the receptionist sent a message to the nurse to call me... No Call.... So I called back again... finally got to talk to a nurse to tell me to finish out the medicine (which could have been left on my voice-mail in the first place) and it didn't work by Friday to call back... Called Friday 3 times and left three more messages with no call backs... Called again on Sunday got voice mail again... So I decided to go back to the office to talk to a nurse face to face... After an hour of talking to the nurse and her talking to the doctor the most I could get was more medicine called in.... This place does not care about patient care they just want your money.... I did try ProCare on Baxter Street, however they do not accept insurance put in place by a Black president. Every time I've been to Reddy (for flu and winter ailments), I've been treated well and promptly given the wait list. It may not be a great place to use if you don't have insurance that covers urgent care, but otherwise, it works if you don't have a good or available doctor. read more

Dr Duncan was inattentive and frankly quite rude. I previously visited this urgent care center with what I considered some relatively serious symptoms related to loss of consciousness, dizziness, and shortness of breath after being in South America for a week. After the medical assistant took my vitals(wish I remembered her name because she was quite nice) I waited on Dr Duncan to check me out. To my dismay Dr Duncan walked into the room having already read my file and immediately told me he couldn't help me because my symptoms didn't make sense. After asking him to at least try he begrudgingly listened to my heartbeat and gave me 30 seconds worth of an examination before confirming his prior statement that there was nothing he could do for me except prescribe me nausea medicine if the dizziness was making me vomit(which it wasn't and he would've known that if he had listened to what I was saying.) He then tells me that if I insist on making this into something that I should go the emergency room which I will now visit in hopes of finding a real doctor who cares about the wellbeing of his patients read more
