I was shocked. First time ever a health professional treated and talked to me like this. If she listened, she would understand maybe. Out of nowhere I felt a sharp pain in my lower back and fell to the ground. I thought it would be temporary and everything would be ok, but sadly I was wrong. I tried to go in to work and had to get off the train and rush to my boyfriends chiro for help. He did what he could, but the pain was still unbearable and I had a flight to catch! I made the trip, but it wasn't enjoyable at all, looking back on things, I should've just taken the L and missed the trip, but I had to be there for my friend and I feel better now so worth it right?!! Once I arrived, I was greeted by the receptionist who had me fill out all the proper paperwork and then I went to see Dr. Bruce! I explained to him what was going on and as soon as he examined me I started crying. When I tell y'all my pain was unbearable I was not kidding! He could tell how much I was hurting and assured me that he'd do everything to help me feel better. After just the first treatment.... y'all I couldn't believe it but I actually left feeling better. I was walking back to my office with a smile and a little pep in my step. I thought they were doing some kind of witchcraft in there because the difference from when I walked in to now leaving was HUGE! I couldn't wait to go back to my next session so I could get to 100% The second session wasn't so great, I left thinking things got worse, but after the third and I fourth, I realized this was all part of the process and finally I can say that I am back to my old self.. but with a better back! Dr. Bruce was fantastic and I am so thankful to him for helping me get to a better place. Although I feel better, I plan on going back soon because it's nice to just get seen and make sure things are going along as they should. After this experience I realized, you shouldn't wait until something is terribly wrong to make yourself and your health a priority. And also, the massage therapists they have there are AMAZING!!!!!! Especially Dax, he has magic hands and I believe he could've cured me just with those!

Couple days later, I found myself in excruciating pain on my upper back (shoulder blade) and called them to see if I can pop in for that first visit. Not only did they say "yes, sure come in now," but they also treated the free consultation as if I was already a paying client. Very very nice staff, big & clean office space, looks like they treat all different kinds of things due to the number of staff members and equipment. Already have a follow up appointment. Ready to get better.

DO NOT GO HERE IF YOUR PLAN IS TO GET WELL…read more I was in a minor fender bender. Went to see these doctors because they took NY State No Fault and the accident wasn't my fault. These people are ambulance chasers who have no interest in getting you well enough to get back to your life. I was harassed about not having a lawyer. They actually had a lawyer call me about my "case." The office manager took it upon herself to have a "sit down" with me to encourage (or force) me to get one. Me telling them I'm not interested in litigation, I'm interested in being able to squat without serious pain did nothing. They threatened to come after me for the bills if the insurance company didn't pay. Then scheduled me for tests I probably didn't need. They sent me to a specialist about my knees, who decided after seeing my MRI that I needed to have surgery on both knees. I went to a different doctor for a second opinion, and a third doctor that I'm actually seeing now, and neither thought surgery was necessary or would be of any benefit. In fact, both said that the injury to my right knee doesn't even require surgery. It heals on it's own. Oddly enough, 98% of the time I went in for treatment (my MRI claims I have all kinds of injuries to my neck and back as well as my knees), all I got was a heating pad and stim machine on my knees, and some really really bad acupuncture. I could feel the needles. A couple of times I got the stim machine/heating pad combo on my back. No exercise, no strengthening of the muscles around my injured knees. No attention to the other injuries I have. There was also the series of "pain shots" administered by Dr. Cohen that didn't work at all. If your goal is to help them get rich off billing insurance companies then by all means, this is the place for you. If your goal is to get better and get back to your life, do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. Never again.

Called Options for rehab because from the building outside the facility looked great. Initially…read morehad some issues getting insurance information addressed with them and they were slow in returning calls. They only have a physical therapist on site on Monday/Wednesday/Friday so I cancelled my first appointment and indicated to them that we had selected a different facility with days and hours better suited to our schedule. Hours later I received a phone call from a completely different physical therapy office telling me that Options Rehab had given them my name and number and they wanted to book an appointment for me. I had not asked Options Physical Therapy to contact anyone on my behalf and had clearly indicated to them that I had already found an alternate rehab facility. I had also not consented in any way to them sharing my information. While they did not, to my knowledge, share anything beyond my phone number, which may or may not be a HIPAA violation, I still don't appreciate the fact that they shared any personal information. I called and calmly and politely explained that I was irritated and suggested that in the future they receive client consent before sharing information. Instead of taking accountability and simply apologizing, they said they didn't contact the other facility, did not share my information and didn't know how that happened. I asked if they thought I was making it up because I truly have better things to do with my time. That's when they got just a little snippy and dismissive. I should have checked reviews here first because I never would have called them in the first place.
