I went to see him when I was a great deal of pain. He had excellent bedside manner, walked me through the treatment options making sure I was aware of what was going on and why. Less than a week later and I'm pain free :) Highly recommend! Thanks Dr. Koppel!

I had gone from working & going to school full-time to being unable to attend a even a single class reliable and made it impossible to work, sleep, or move normally. When numerous other physicians failed to provide relief through meds or attempted procedures and gave up; Dr Koppel developed a treatment plan and we started investigating other procedures that may help. Even though we didn't find a solution over night Dr. Koppel kept trying to find options and eventually found procedures in my neck and back which allowed enough pain relief to develop a new treatment plan and I was able to slowly return to work and school. Dr Koppel has enabled me to return to work full-time and to finish the bachelors degree that had been missing just two semesters. I've now returned to being a functional member of society thanks to Dr Koppel's expertise, experience and compassion.

I didn't mind that the nurse thought I was the patient (woman) instead of my friend (male). Maybe look at the chart before you come in ma'am. And I didn't mind that she dropped the pill on the floor but I did find it unprofessional that when I went to the bathroom I heard two of the female employees talking in one of them said " see I told you it's just one after the other a revolving door patience." I think you should keep that kind of talk to yourself because now you just sound like a greedy business.

I went for 2 visits and at no time did I ever see a doctor; I was seen by an NP - Stacey Sanchez that determined after reviewing some x-rays that I didn't warrant the medication that was taking for 7 years. I gave Epic pain access to the documentation from my prior doctor that covered 7 years of pain coverage for a staph infection that destroyed me in 2 years. 9 times in surgery and 12 times in the hospital/ E.R. These people have no right having a license to practice medicine. Due to these idiots, I tried Kratom for the pain and it almost killed me.

Because of my accident I was in need of pain management and it was very unfortunate that he was the…read moreonly provider for my HMO plan. I arrived very early to complete all of the forms and I had a very long wait before seeing him. The medical assistant finally called me and sent me to go into the room to wait for the doctor. However, after waiting for him for 15 minutes I was requested to go to a different room. After waiting another 15 minutes, one of his assistants came in to collect more detailed information about my slip and fall accident in addition to any treatments that I have received to date etc. 15 minutes after that conversation, he finally came in to communicate with me. However this wasn't a conversation. There was no Compassion or any concern to truly understand what was going on, it was more of an interrogation. He was extremely rude, arrogant and kept asking me the same questions over and over again but in different ways. As if I was going to give him a different answer or be inconsistent or be dishonest about the intensity of the pain that I am experiencing. What the hell???!! As he's interrogating me, he has the audacity to ask me why am I so upset and I'm looking at him and I'm explaining to him that I am not responding to medications because I am in pain and he keeps interrogating me! Asking why? Why? Etc. Why haven't you had an MRI? I told him that I was not referred to one. He persists, why why why why? then he's going to say what is your diagnosis? WTF? I couldn't believe he asked me what's my diagnosis as if I went to medical school to become a doctor in specializing pain management! I told him shouldn't you examine me to make that determination?????? You don't have a diagnosis so I can prescribe you any pain medication! What am I treating you for? omg!!! Then he looks at my x-ray and says he doesn't see anything and he kept on repeating that and I said: I don't care what you see, I'm in severe pain and I am telling you to look at all of the referrals that I have been given from my PCP and that I have home care, so if I'm going through all of this, what makes you think I don't have pain??? Like really! The interrogation continued and he was just so rude and so nasty, I could not believe that I was experiencing this. I grabbed all of my papers and I walked off. I could not believe it. I was in shock. Out of this world experience. I have never met a medical provider that was so utterly disgusting and heartless, it is like how dare you interrogate me as if you are the damn FBI? or the DEA? Well fortunately I was able to find another provider who accepted a letter protection from my attorney. So even though this jerk was the only provider for my insurance, I wasn't at a lost. I went to Jersey Rehab (in Belleville, NJ). I was given an appt where I was treated by the doctor. The Dr. did what he was supposed to do by examining me, he made 2 diagnoses of my injuries, provided me with prescriptions (pain meds), and referred me to an MRI provider. Not to mention the Jersey Rehab Dr. provided me with respect and compassion. Word to the wise, if you want treatment and respect, Avoid Kazimierz at all costs. He is so arrogant, rude and nasty.

Additionally, the office was closed the next day as well. They will always speak behind your back in polish, knowing you cannot understand them. They are all about the $$$$. In the event you are in need of a prior authorization, good luck! When my insurance had called the office to obtain a prior authorization, because they would not return my calls, the doctor hung up the phone on the phone with insurance company, stating this was taking too much of his and his staff's time. Leaving a long term patient of six years without medication and unable to be there for my fiancé's father open heart surgery. Once obtaining records for a large fee, there were many false statements in the records. I was shocked that any medical doctor would put false statements in a patient's record. Completely unethical. If you are looking for a doctor that is actually looking out for your best interests, and not the money, I suggest you look elsewhere. In the event he is out of the office, even if it is for an emergency you will be left in the cold. I had been told there is no covering doctor and if you have an emergency, even during the day week to go to the ER. This so called doctor should retire or have his license pulled. That is no way to treat a compliant patient. I also failed to mention during my appointment he was cursing several times using the F word and in my medical records states I cursed at him. Although his staff was witness to this, they are all too afraid to speak up. Will see what will happen once they are subject to subpoena. Shall see if they lie under oath as well.

It was mere coincidence that Dr. Raab is also part of the CNSO medical team! This connection affirmed that CNSO was indeed the correct practice for me. For cases such as mine, the CNSO surgical team includes surgeons from both spinal disciplines: Orthopedic Spine Surgeon AND a Spinal Neurosurgeon. This combination was super-important to me and actually one of the main reasons that I went with CNSO. I met with Dr. Raab and I immediately liked him. He is very calm, warm, and articulate. He further clarified and explained the issues/situation around the progressive, painful deformity in my spine (Scheuermann's disease) that I had lived with for years. He appreciated my questions and my understanding, which he also further impressed upon me, of the seriousness and the recovery challenges associated spinal surgery. In January, Dr. Harris and Dr. Raab performed a 13-vertebrae (T2-L2) spinal fusion on my spine. The results are absolutely incredible and I couldn't be more pleased (no more pain & no more ugly thoracic hump)!! I highly recommend Dr. Raab for anyone in need of a Neurosurgeon.
